Above all else, the packaging stinks. I’m sure it is stable but it is a push button from the bottom… which means when you put the cap back on it, it’s very easy to push down on the bottom and wasted product ensues. I have used this to completion and notice no difference. 2 stars as I do have faith in Paula’s Choice products BUT this one just didn’t happen to work for me and the packaging is ridiculous.

I’m a die hard Paula’s Choice fan. Her line saved my skin BUT I don’t like this. I have wrinkles on my forehead & laugh lines. This has done nothing for them & I’ve been using this for months now. The packaging is also really weird. It’s supposed to be a spot applicator but too much liquid comes out so I have to rub it in anyway but it dries so quickly that I can’t spread it everywhere. I’ll use it till I run out but won’t re-buy it.

This is a new product. I have used it for about 6 months and I love, love, love it. I don’t have much faith in “quick” wrinkle removing products and have a lot of faith in retinol but I was intrigued by this item because of paula’s choice’s team. They were explaining that there was preliminary research about these ingredients but were so confident in some of the results that they started developing the product. The difference between this and retinol is that it helps boost elastin.
I put this on and I kid you not the next day my nasolabial lines were significantly less. Now I don’t have much going on with my skin in terms of wrinkles but I was pretty impressed. Time will tell if this is lasting treatment. I thought that maybe this product had hylauronic acid in it and was plumping my skin which would be a temporary effect but it doesn’t. I also thought that maybe another ingredient was giving a temporary effect but i have used both the glycerin and niacinamide that are listed and not had as “dramatic” results.I have very oily skin so I like the lightness of this, and feel like it combines well with the other layering skincare I use.
However, the packaging were both a huge hit and miss for me. In some ways I prefer this packaging. I like that I don’t have to use my fingers or cottonpad. I find the bottle very sanitary. But…..I don’t like how it mimics a syringe for many reasons, I work in behavioral health and we would call this type of packaging… not really the most thoughtful. I get the filler reference, but it could also be a couple of other things that are not as pleasant. Modify it a bit and I just feel it will be more empowering and as another reviewer said less gimmicky. Paula is known for calling out other brands that are selling us with their packaging/marketing so it feels like a strange choice.

The packaging for this product is a little gimmicky,but stable.It resembles a syringe with a wobbly silver button on the bottom to push up the contents toward the syringe. I wasn’t sure whether it was retractable, or not but you’re supposed to push it. Be careful not to place this down to hard, or else a lot can squirt out.
The texture is gel like and watery. The first ingredients are glycerin and niacinamide the latter wich can increase the fatty acids in the skin. There are also glycosaminoglycans and sodium hyaluronate that function as SII.
This also has ‘copper lysinate’ prolate which can potentially accelerate skins metabolism and help generate healthy collagen. The research for this is limited but looks promising. In any case you should give this about 6-12 weeks to see results.
I think that this texture would not be enough for someone with dry skin. Oily skin types will probably like it better. It drys quickly and afterword you can feel the water evaporate off your skin. I needed abut 5 pumps for my whole face and it dries before I can spread it. It is hard to apply evenly to your face by just using the droplets. This reminded me of their hyaluronic essence. I have small fine lines on my forehead and this diminished the appearance of them. Something most moisturizes don’t do for me. So if you wrinkles or your skin is losing elasticity-try this out.
NOTE: This gets a 4 star rating on ‘beautypedia’,rather than a 5 star rating. The reason stated is because the packaging is gimmicky. It’s not a super big deal , but I found it interesting that for once one of her products got a rating less than ‘ best’.

So I used this for 6 weeks which I think is enough time to see some kind of result but I saw none. No smoothing of fine lines, no plumping, no brightening–nothing. I wasn’t expecting relaxing of wrinkles–only botox will do that, but I had hoped for some help with minor fine lines around my lips and or cheeks which may have been due to dry skin or something.
Paula’s group rated this as a best new product and many of the reviews on her site from 30 year olds had the most positive findings so maybe I’m not in the target group. For me this product was an expensive failed experiment but I wanted to give this a good trial. And it looks like people either find it works for them or it doesn’t.
The pump is a nice touch but I didn’t pump it right onto my skin. I pumped it onto my finger and then applied it to my skin so I found it awkward to use as intended. It felt like a caulk gun. Maybe I’m just a goof. And tube is opaque so you have to guess how much is left. My tube feels about half empty. That seems a lot gone for 6 week’s use.
