I find the smell kinda weird. Texture is a too liquid for my liking. I am used to a moisturiser being a gel or cream texture. It applies leaving slightly sticky feels. Aso didn’t feel like my skin was Super moisturised or smooth or glossy afterwards. It acted just like a normal moisturiser. Didn’t like it

Tip: You don’t have to pay ninety dollars for this. You can order it from the UK something for fifty something dollars which makes it a much better value.
I love this moisturizer. I don’t get why it is priced so high because the ingredients really are simple. Even if a lot of the oils are organic and cold pressed… not sure why it is the price it is (even at the UK price). That said – I adore this moisturizer and will continue to buy it. It is incredibly soothing and quite moisturizing, without feeling heavy. The scent is amazing – yes, it’s a little like tortilla chips but mixed with something else – orange blossom, maybe. It really leaves my skin happy and glowing.

This moisturizer I got during their January 50% off sales, so the price from 69.90€ was cut half. I have to say the result of this moisturizer is impressive and I have used at least over 100 moisturizers in my life. I’d recommend wearing it during day time as it gives a very nice glow and *plump* effect. As a normal/dry skin person I feel despite the texture being light my skin doesn’t get dry throughout the day. They have testers of this in pump bottles, so I think they should think about that also for the selling items to reduce exposure of this creams ingredients to air.

I have a long, long history with Lush. I worked there in college, then managed a store after college, then moved all over the country and world for a while, and stuck with my Lush habit because, well, it’s high-quality and you can find it pretty much everywhere you roam. I’ve tried literally every product a billion times (and I used to get such a sweet employee discount that that wasn’t breaking the bank).
But I’ve never used Gorgeous. Back when it came out, all us employees were given samples, and I liked it fine, but even with my discount it was still crazy far outside my budget.
It’s been over a decade since then, and I still use Lush products for pretty much everything. For face stuff, I’ve graduated to fancy brands found at Sephora. But recently I was experiencing allergic reactions to some product in the seemingly million-step skincare routine I’d created for myself. I found myself needing a simple yet effective day and night moisturizer that I could use to calm my skin down for a couple of months before reintroducing all the acids and retinoids and serums and everything one by one.
I went to Lush with every intention of buying Celestial, their inexpensive, sensitive-skin moisturizer, purely out of habit. As I stood looking at the skincare shelf, it suddenly struck me: wait a minute, I’m in my thirties now, I finally make good money, and I can actually afford Gorgeous!
It had been such an off-limits item for so much of my adult life that it hadn’t occurred to me even to consider it. I bought it without a second thought and started using it day and night (the “ration the expensive thing” mindset has never made sense to me–if I buy something pricy, I want to get my full mileage out of it, not use it halfway).
After a single week of using no other skincare product but Gorgeous, day and night–and a little rosehip oil directly on the extra-dry spots by my hairline–my skin looks so awesome that I no longer need foundation.
This moisturizer is worth every penny. Treat yourself, and use it generously.

I tried this so far for a week, both as my day and night moisturizer.
PROS:
lightweight, somewhat of a matte finish, so great for a day cream
absorbs really fast
smells good
it did make my scars heal up a little bit! my acne scars “shrunk”
made the little bumps on my chin disappear by the 5th use.
CONS:
not moisturizing enough.. I had to use a lot of it, plus a heavier cream on top for nighttime.
the smell is a tad strong, but it’s not a big deal because the smell fades within seconds
for sensitive parts of your face, it can sting a little bit. probably the fruit enzymes
way too expensive

I have used Lush’s Gorgeous on and off the past few years. It’s $90 for just a few ounces. It lasts (for me) about two months and I use it sparingly. When I do use it routinely I find my complexion is more even, I noticed less hormonal breakouts, and my skin is super soft. I think it has a lovely fruity smell (some say Fruit Loops) and feels cool going on. I’ve tried others – Lush products and others – but keep coming back to Gorgeous.

Gorgeous is the creme de la creme of LUSH moisturizers. It is the formula that Princess Diana used as a moisturizer. This stuff makes my skin look flawless, dewy, and glowing. Yes it is expensive, but you get what you pay for. This uses cold pressed essential oils. The ingredients are the purest and highest quality. I have only bought this twice because of the price. Once for my wedding and then for a Hawaii vacation. I love it and if I could afford it I’d get it for every day use.

This moisturizer is very soothing for my combination skin. It leaves my skin smooth, glowing, and break-out free. My skin feels almost plump, like a baby’s skin afterwards.
Cons: I am slightly allergic to an ingredient, and since it has so many different natural oils, it’s difficult to tell which ingredient. As such, my eyes get a little irritated after use, and so I usually only use it as a night cream.
This cream is expensive, but worth it to me. If I didn’t have the allergy I would definitely purchase again.

It smells like tortilla chips. I couldn’t get over the smell. It made be break out as well. Definitely not purchasing again.

I wanted to try this moisturizer out because it’s one of Lush’s luxurious products. I heard it was like magic, the first night I put this on my face I loved it my face was SO smooth and it felt refreshed. But after a couple of days of using it, it started to give me a rash and I broke out completely into small little pimples allll over my face 🙁
