In general I’ve like many Indie Lee products that I’ve tried so far. There have been one or two that I found to be a little ineffective or a little too fragrant, but a lot of Indie Lee items are very gentle and nice for sensitive skin. This is the case with the new Indie Lee Daily Vitamin Infusion. The Daily Vitamin Infusion is more of a light oil as opposed to a serum or gel texture. I wasn’t very surprised by this given the several oils that are in the ingredients list.
The Daily Vitamin Infusion is best used in the middle of your skin care routine. I’ve played with layering this quite a bit, and for the most part it seems to work best after essences and serums, but before thicker moisturizers or sleeping masks. This oil has a light texture, and most oils seem to be a little thicker which makes them tend to work better at the end of your skin care routine. This is not the case with the Indie Lee Daily Vitamin Infusion. It is a bit of a tricky oil so if you have a long and layered skin care regimen you’ll probably want to play with this a bit to determine where if fits best in your routine.
I only have one issue with the Daily Vitamin Infusion, and that is regarding it’s comedgenic ingredients. If you have acne prone skin I would recommend being cautious when you add this into your routine. Squalane, Avocado Oil, Coconut Oil, Sunflower Seed Oil, and Vitamin E can all be culprits of breakouts. I have not had any issues with this thankfully, but that doesn’t necessarily mean you won’t.
Adding the Daily Vitamin Infusion has really helped boost hydration in my skin, especially during this long, cold, snowy winter weather. I love adding this into my evening routine. Some days when my skin is drier than normal I will even “pat” in a few drops to hydrate my skin instantly. This is a little pricey, and you can probably find a similar oil for a lower price. Despite this I always love supporting cruelty free brand, and purchasing denatured alcohol and fragrance free products! If you are interested, my video review can be seen here: 0
