I bought this because my Luna Oil is being re-formulated and I cannot re-purchase until it gets re-launched in Canada. I was sold this Multi-Vitamin oil at Sephora as a comparable product. It does sink into your skin quite quickly without any greasiness like the Luna Night Oil, but I don’t find it hydrating enough for the winter. It’s very thin in texture, the light scent is not objectionable and layers well with my serum and night cream, but I need a heavier oil for the winter. I would recommend this for the summer for sure.

I only apply argan oil in the winter because too much will clog my pores and break me out, but as we’re going into the warmer seasons, argan oil isn’t an option. When it comes to this oil, I’ve heard great things about it – it’s brightening, lightweight, non-greasy, etc… This usually retails at $70 but I got it at such a steal of $44. Here’s my 2 cents!
I like things that smell good. My Clarins night cream smells of fresh botanics, my Fresh deep hydration cream is scented by roses, and this Murad oil smells lightly of lavender. Just a hint, but noticeable. I wouldn’t recommend this for fragrance sensitive people but personally, I love a good scent that isn’t overly obnoxious or fabricated (smells fake). The oil easily absorbs into my dry skin, and doesn’t leave any shine. Some oils just sit on your face, this one doesn’t. I find that 4-5 drops easily covers my face and neck and allows for some nice facial massages. All in all, a fantastic oil that’s great for spring and summer since it’s so lightweight.

why is this product in a bottle with a dropper applicator ? For the active ingredients, vitamins A, B5, C D & E to stay well, active, this serum should be in air-proof pump bottle. I found the oil to be a light formula and to not provide all day hydration. If you are prone to acne, skip this. I noticed no beneficial skin improvement while using this product.

The Murad Mutli Vitamin Infusion Oil contains several different beneficial ingredients such as coconut, jojoba oil, tocepheral acetate, and an ingredient that I couldn’t find a lot of information about such as Moringa Olifera Seed Oil, which is pretty high up on the ingredient list. This absorbs quickly and feels nice on my skin. I would caution you to be careful if you have acne prone skin since this contains several ingredients that can cause breakouts. This didn’t make me breakout but I typically don’t get acne or breakout. Murad has also included several fragrance components, thankfully those are all at the end of the ingredient list, the scent doesn’t linger, but this product would be better without them.
