I love or at least like, ( I’m looking at you, Ceramidin cream..) most of what I’ve tried in the Dr Jart+ range, even though a lot was designed for a different climate/ set of skincare needs than a red headed freckled lady in Europe.
Given I’m on a mission to find the holy grail of rehydration products so I can lay off the need to spritz every half hour past lunchtime, thought I’d try this.
Comes in a nice, hygienic pump dispenser (hooray, although no lock to make it easy to travel with- which is a shame). The product has a semi transparent gel consistency and a pleasant but not overpowering fragrance.
I think the key thing that’s different about this mask is that is says you have to put it over/ in addition to your normal moisturiser. As such I’ve been keeping it next to my bed and smoothing it on as I settle in.
That explains the light, gel like texture and the fact that it’s not too greasy- seems like it’s meant to boost your normal skincare, and so far I’ve been finding it does- been waking up extra hydrated and clear looking skin, and it sinks in well enough that it doesn’t get lost all over the pillow.
I can imagine this would be an amazing flight cream to layer on over usual products as well.
It is an essential for me? No. But it’s another lovely Dr Jart+ product and for anyone really suffering with dehydration would be well worth a try. I’ll certainly be reaching for it a good few times over a given week, just because it’s so pleasant and kind of fun to use.

I really wanted to love this product, I really love the packaging and the smell and the way it applies and the simple pump. But this really didn’t do much for my dry skin and made me break out. Will not be repurchasing..

Love it!
Most products don’t leave my skin feeling moist in the morning after putting them on at night but this does! Usually my skin just feels dry again in the morning, but this really infuses water into the skin.
I have pretty dry skin, I don’t get flakes as much any more now that I use this almost every night. My skin seems plumper.

What a let down…..I gave this product 3 try’s during a 48 hour period. It’s a light gel consistency and it feels very comfortable going on. However after 20 ,minutes the hydrating drink of water feel is gone and I’m reaching for something to hydrate. This did not cause any break outs but it did not do as promised. It may be better for mildy dehydrated skin or someone oily looking for minor hydration. For $48 this is going back.
