This is an average overnight mask from Lancome. The Energie de Vie line is of more natural origin. This is a light texture that feels good on the skin. I prefer Lancome’s Hydra Zen overnight mask over this, that one has a richer texture that blends well into the skin and is perfect to put overtop a night cream and seal in the moisture. This one is good too, but I prefer the other better.

The whole Energie de Vie line is a HG. I have tried loads of Lancome products, but this line is definitely the best by the quality and price. I have oily little bit problematic skin and it makes miracles literally overnight (I use lotion, serum and a sleeping mask in the evening). My skin is supersmooth, clear, glowing and healthy looking.

Fortunately I had a sample that I used for several days before deciding to purchase the full size. The Energie de Vie Sleeping Mask has a light, gel-like texture, mild scent that disappears quickly, and a small amount does the job. I feel the appearance of my skin is improved in a way that’s hard to describe, just overall “better with” than without. The Lancôme product is a slight upgrade in quality from my previous fave, the Laneige Sleeping Mask. I love both, alternate them every few days, and will definitely repurchase both. Update Sept. 2017 — After spending most of this year experimenting with sleeping masks, I actually now prefer the Sephora Collection sleeping masks to either the Lancôme or Laneige, especially the green tea, lotus, and algae.

I was so excited about this mask, but unfortunately it caused me breakout and it was quite itchy too. It has very beautiful packaging, although I hope they include a little spatula to scoop it out. Just feel a little unhygenic to dab my fingers to the whole jar. Breakout apart, my skin did look fresher in the morning, but for the price I don’t think its actually worth the hype.

I received 2 delux samples of this product. I’ve been using Asian masks for years now so I had some decent expectations. First it feels so good it melts into my skin like the Laniege sleeping mask. My skin immediately feels hydrated and soft. When I wake up in the am my skin looks clear and glow-ey. My skin is plumper and balanced too. I would purchase this in full size as I enjoy the whole energy de vie line, especially the “toner” or lotion. I haven’t broken out from this either. The scent is mild and it really feels like it’s relaxing, plumping, and brightening my skin. It’s a nice sleeping mask and a good one to try if you like bedtime masks.
