I really, really wanted to like this one, because I liked Boscia’s now discontinued night cream but the fragrance was over-powering and bothered not only me, but my skin. While it says it is “artificial” fragrance free – the ingredients list many fragrant oils, such as lavender, clove, orange, etc so it is not “fragrance-free”.
In addition – I’ve used several different types/brands of “sleeping masks” and this one was sooo sticky. I only apply a tiny amount, which soaked in and was not visible on skin, but could definitely be felt on skin. When I touched my skin it would feel really tacky, and if I rolled around in bed, my face would stick to the blankets or pillows. It also made no difference in the softness or appearance of my skin, it just sat there doing nothing. My skin still had dry patches after a few uses, and then red patches too from the irritation. On a positive note, it wasn’t greasy.
I had to return this to Sephora after a week, the irritation was just not worth it. I don’t recommend this to anyone, if you really want to try it, get a sample first!
Instead, I would recommend Clinique’s Moisture Surge Overnight Mask which is amazing! I love it so much I use it day and night – no scent, soothing, creamy without greasiness and very hydrating.
