There is so much to love about this cleanser. I loved how my skin texture looked and felt. It never broke me out and everything breaks me out. Unfortunately, this cleanser made my eyes burn so bad. My eyes were in pain for days tearing up every second of the day. I couldn’t look in bright lights and was scared this cleanser caused damage to my eye because I was seeing spots for a week. It permanently caused puffiness under my left eye. Also every morning it looked as if my eyes were swollen. I’m not sure if it’s all hypoallergenic cleansers because I recently tried the Garnier gentle cleanser and I started feeling as if my eyes were going to act up again so I tossed it immediately. Also, the pumps on Perricones products never work correctly. I couldn’t even get this one to screw on.

My favorite cleanser from Dr. P. I have combo skin with the occasional pimple now and then. Finished my first bottle about 5 months using twice daily. Half pump in morning, and 1 pump at night. I do use a pre cleanse treatment at night to get rid of oil/sunscreen. This lathers just enough to use with my Foreo Non drying. Very gentle cleanser that leaves you clean but no dry or tight feeling. I don’t find this product has any scent, liquid/gel consistency, and a pale green color. Nice green glass bottle with easy pump. Would recommend not using the pump right at the start. Dr. P fills this bottle up and found putting the pump in caused some spillage. So for the first week just keep the cap on and pour out some. Would recommend this cleanser as the one to try from Dr. P would be suitable for most skin types and does a great job!

I really like this cleanser. It does an excellent job of taking off makeup, including eye makeup. Now, I don’t wear waterproof, so I can’t speak for that. It does not dry out my skin, and it just melts off the makeup. It has a scent that has an undertone that is kind of cocoa-like, to my nose at least. This doesn’t lather, but it is effective. My skin doesn’t feel dry or tight afterward, and my skin does feel clean. This hasn’t caused any breakouts after about 3 weeks of use — I am on week 4 now. I really like this so far. And, the price is comparable to PTR’s Anti-aging cleanser (though, the cleansers are different). I bet this cleanser lasts me 5 or 6 months for $39.

I would give this cleanser a 3 and half stars. First of all, it smells good. I live in the country and I love the smell of herbs and things like that. This cleanser smells earthy-ish? It comes in a heavy glass bottle with a pump ,which is nice. This doesn’t foam up very nicely which is a downside. I know the chemicals they use to make soaps foam is really not good for you, but I just love the bubbles. Other than that, it was ok. Nothing really special. My skin doesn’t feel overly clean or dry after and it doesn’t leave any residue. But it also doesn’t make my skin way softer either. I use it in the morning with my bare hands and with clarasonic at night and there doesn’t seem to be too much of a difference.

I was all excited to try this product line, hoping to find something gentle and non-irritating enough to allow me to ditch my complicated, medication-ridden regimen. I got two separate samples from Sephora because it often takes awhile for my skin to develop a negative reaction to a product. I needn’t have bothered. After one use, my skin was red and itchy, with tiny red pimples forming. Normally, I wouldn’t assume that this means a cleanser is necessarily bad because I am so extremely sensitive to so many ingredients. However, along with the irritation, this cleanser made my skin so dry that my skin tightened, stung, and started peeling, even though I diluted it with water before I applied it to my skin. I can’t believe this product is being marketed for sensitive skin.
