It is gentle and does a nice job of cleaning without drying skin. But it is sticky sticky sticky. It takes a while to rinse and even then, I feel unrinsed residue up near my ears and temples. It could work if you only use a tiny amount and then spread it around. I just didn’t like the feeling.

I remembered buying this oil of Olay face wash many decades ago when I was a teenager starting out with skincare & oily problematic skin! & using for a while I didn’t really like it Bc I realized even though it was gentle & fragrance free it was leaving a slimy residue on my face which I hated ! & nowadays I always use a cleanser that rinses off cleanly Bc my experience with this face wash!

This is an excellent facial cleanser. It throughly cleans skin without stripping the skin and it leaves no residue. It is suitable for almost all skin types. It has no fragrance and it won’t irritate sensitive skin. It is slightly creamy in texture and spreads easily and rinse off well. I will absolutely repurchase.

It’s a good generic basic cleanser.
No fragrance, no oils, no breakouts. I have sensitive normal to dry dehydrated skin.
It is not moisturizing and doesn’t have any side benefits except cleaning the skin. I don’t think it can be used to remove makeup, it’s too mild for that, but does a decent job as a second or morning time cleanser.

This review is for the all blue bottle “foaming face wash” for sensitive skin.
I have used this cleanser for 10-15 years and it has been my go to cleanser.
However, they recently changed the packaging (white bottle) as well as the ingredients and I am not even bothering to try it.
The ingredients list on the Canadian website has not been changed and is incorrect.
FYI Aloe has now been moved to the very bottom of the list and it seems Olay has just found a way to turn more of a profit.

This review is for the Olay foaming face wash Clean sensitive skin in the white tube. I am almost 46 with dry very sensitive skin. A lot of hair and skin products either make me itch or break out. I have used this for about 4 days and I have had no break outs whatsoever! My face has been itching a bit but it could be from something else. This takes all my makeup off and makes my skin feel soft. I am hoping it will be the winner in my search for a sensitive drugstore face wash.

I use this as a second cleanser on days where i’m wearing a full face of makeup. I find that it does the job well. No breakouts, no reaction, zero fragrance. As someone who has combination but sensitive skin, I love this. I stumbled across it and figured to give it a try. Glad I did. No film left, doesn’t seem to suck too much moisture either. I will definitely re purchase this as a 2nd cleanser(after using a makeup wipe and micellar cleanser) for clean, beautiful skin.

I used several bottles of this cleanser and then, as usual, they changed the formula….they claimed that only the packaging was changed, but upon reading the ingredients list, there is a subtle change in the formula. However, that subtle change was enough to break me out a lot. Despite several attempts to communicate w/the company, they refuse to respond….

Left a sticky film on my face and when it ran into my eyes it burned. Had to wash it off with my other skin cleanser Cerave foaming face cleanser. Cerave does not leave a film and does not burn my eyes if it runs into my eyes. It’s going back to the store.

I can’t believe all the money I’ve spent on fancy cleansers over the years when this little gem was sitting on the drugstore shelf all the time! I had most recently used the Neocutis Gentle Cleanser but I read on Paula’s Choice that a major ingredient in that is primarily used for hair removal. Since I am fighting age-related hair loss anyhow, that’s the last thing I need. Paula recommended this so thought I’d give it a try and I’ve never looked back.
