I ran out of the foaming acne gel cleanser I found at Dollar Tree, and when I went back to pick up more, they didn’t have any, so I bought this at CVS. I really liked that DT stuff, and I didn’t feel like blowing my budget. I had a $2 L’oreal coupon, plus a $3 CVS coupon, so I paid only 19 cents for this. Can’t beat that with a stick, really. This stuff is… adequate. it works fine but did not give me the squeaky, oil-busting clean I prefer. it’s very liquidy and doesn’t foam all that much. It made me pine for the Estee Lauder Splash Away cleanser. Remember that stuff? Do they still make it? I think that is the perfect face cleanser, but I just cannot afford to spend that much money just to wash my face. If you have normal or dry skin, I think this will work fine for you and it’s cheap enough, but as an oily-skinned gal, I need a bit more power when I wash my greasy face. I wish I had Neutrogena coupons.
