I’ve been trying scads of affordable vitamin C serums lately, and I think I’ve found my HG in this product!
I have aging, dehydrated, oily and acne-prone skin. My skin reacts well to vitamin C – I’ve never had a bad reaction so far. My quest has been to find something effective for the lowest price possible.
I was already using a BHA product to help with blackheads and breakouts, but I wanted to add a mild AHA into my routine to even out my skintone and help heal breakouts and fade PIH. I’ve tried Vitamin C serums with Vitamin E and Ferulic Acid and they were ok but nothing particularly special. The ones I’ve tried with Hyaluronic Acid were going to be a problem during steamy summer months when I become a grease ball by noon.
I love the texture of this serum – it’s a true gel with a very faint citrus scent. It’s not too runny so it’s very easy to apply. It works great under makeup for me – doesn’t dry out my skin or make it oilier either. The price is $20, which is very affordable. I just started noticing my skin becoming clearer last week, and when I looked up the product on amazon again it said to expect to see results in 3 weeks – this was exactly true for me. My skintone is definitely clearer with less redness and I feel that the healing time has greatly improved.
