The items has a really oily feeling to it, despite the fact that it’s not intended to be one. Since I began utilizing it my skin has actually been breaking out (as well as I hardly ever have outbreaks) and my skin has actually been feeling oilier and worse than typical. I have not seen a positive adjustment to my skin.

Buy once again? Maybe, however most likely not in the near future.
This is a strange little item. I had it for more than a year, throughout which I used it on as well as off simply for the sake of it without truly discovering any sort of effect (however I know that anti-oxidants tend to be silent warriors that take a bit longer), before I took it as my only serum on a two-week journey to Belgium and also the Netherlands. There I used it twice a day under the moisturiser, and at the end of the trip my skin was the best as well as cleanest it’s been in a long time; on the disadvantage, it was quite dried and limited, yet possibly I ought to have brought a separate hydrating serum for that. The issue is, given that I was taking a trip, I don’t understand without a doubt whether it had not been simply the tap water there that had such an effect on my face, and also my bottle ran out soon after returning house.
However I guess we’ll never ever recognize, since I’m not intending on redeeming it in the near future. It’s simply too much of a trouble to locate an area in my regimen for it, what with it being sensitive to essentially allcommonly available active components available. I’m going to try Pycnogenol 5% rather, as I can make use of that with my 100% L-Ascorbic Acid Powder as well as Resveratrol 3% + Ferulic Acid 3% (it really has a great harmony with vitamin C), however I’ll keep EUK 134 in mind.

I intended to try this as an option to using a Vitamin C serum (do NOT utilize in exact same routine as Vitamin C) because along with being an antioxidant it is expected to decrease soreness, which I have on my cheeks and also chin. I have been using it in combination with TO Buffet and also have seen results in as low as 2 weeks. There is a small warming experience after applying the EUK 134 which is normal, as well as does not last long. It’s far from awkward and also feels like you held a warm towel versus your skin for much less than one min. It looks a lot like root beer or cola, however that is likewise normal and does not transform the tone of your skin due to the fact that you essentially make use of a number of decreases (not droppers) and also press into your skin. I think this is a worthy purchase and has actually come to be a fave of mine.

The products has a really oily feel to it, even though it’s not supposed to be one. Since I started using it my skin has been breaking out (and I rarely have breakouts) and my skin has been feeling oilier and worse than usual. I haven’t seen a positive change to my skin.

Buy again? Maybe, but probably not in the near future.
This is a weird little product. I had it for more than a year, during which I used it on and off just for the sake of it without really noticing any kind of effect (but I know that antioxidants tend to be quiet warriors that take a bit longer), before I took it as my only serum on a two-week trip to Belgium and the Netherlands. The problem is, since I was travelling, I don’t know for sure whether it wasn’t simply the tap water there that had such an impact on my face, and my bottle ran out soon after returning home.
But I guess we’ll never know, because I’m not planning on repurchasing it in the foreseeable future. I wanted to try this as an alternative to using a Vitamin C serum (do NOT use in same routine as Vitamin C) because in addition to being an antioxidant it is supposed to reduce redness, which I have on my cheeks and chin. I have been using it in combination with TO Buffet and have seen results in as little as 2 weeks. There is a slight warming sensation after applying the EUK 134 which is normal, and doesn’t last very long. It’s far from uncomfortable and feels like you held a warm towel against your skin for less than one minute. It looks a lot like root beer or cola, but that is also normal and doesn’t change the tone of your skin because you literally use a couple of drops (not droppers) and press into your skin. I think this is a worthy purchase and has become a favorite of mine.

This is probably the only Ordinary product I personally didn’t get on. I find it very limiting as it can’t be use in the same routine as vitamim C or retinol and I love vitamin C in the morning and retinol at night. I used it for a good month in place of my vitamin C serum in the morning and I didn’t notice any substantial difference to my skin. Despite its light oil consistency it made my skin feel slightly dehydrated after a couple of hours. I’m using it on my chest now just to use the bottle up but I won’t repurchase.

This has made a big difference in my skin just looking good in general – and I have used all kinds of products – a lifetime of Retin A, Biologique Recherche P50 , Paula’s Choice products, Niacinamide , Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair, etc.
I just feel as if my skin looks more even and radiant. I use it at night – not every night, as I still have The Ordinary Retin A blends with squalane, which I also love. I have also started using the Vitamin C .. but when I added this to my rotation, I really noticed the positive change. I don’t really like to use foundation anymore – just touch up a bit under my eyes and around my nose.
If you are going to buy just one product from the Ordinary .. I would buy this one.
Zero irritation. It feels slightly warm as you put it on your face, but it doesn’t sting, and it is not an unpleasant feeling.

This is more of a long-term ‘insurance’ product than an immediate improvement product. It might help immediately if you already have a lot of sun damage, but for most people, there won’t be a difference you see. Like with sunblock – you don’t use sunscreen for a month or two and then decide not to bother because you can’t see a difference. The difference will be apparent in ten years, not ten months.
It’s nowhere near as heavily researched as vitamin C, and EUK can’t be used at the same time as Vit C (the acidic forms which have the most scientific backing)- so if you can only have one, you’re probably best sticking with Vit C.
However, not everyone can use Vit C at an effective percentage and so this is a great alternative. The research that does exist so far is very promising in terms of EUK helping to prevent sun damage, which is why I’m including it in my regime.
If you’re using it to see improvements now, then it’s not the product for you. If you want to protect your skin and prevent any sun damage worsening, this is a good choice.
It doesn’t play well with any acids, so if you acid tone 2x a day it’s not going to fit into your routine. I don’t, as my skin doesn’t tolerate more than a weekly acid exfoliation.
It does work fine with Retin A. Despite being an ‘acid’ Retin A isn’t acidic enough to be incompatible with EUK. And if I tried to use Retin A and Vit C together at night, my face would probably fall off. So I use mine at night with Retin A and niacinamide topped with a facial oil. I use Vit C, Resveratrol, and Ferulic under sunblock in the morning. So far it doesn’t cause breakouts and my skin looks nice and even toned.
Does it prevent wrinkles? I’ll have to let you know in ten years!

I never had such a glowing skin since I started to use Ordinary products.I use all of them in a different times but this particular one I found the most effective for mature skin.In general all products are great and affordable.I used to splurge on the most expensive brands like la prairie, kanebo, sisley (all bs).My suggestion, try, nothing to lose but gaining beautiful complexion and save lots of money.

I bought this without really know what it do. Supposedly some antioxidant. Thinks it really brighten up my face. Does not gives me pimples Nor dryiness

Personally, I really like this from The Ordinary range. I have no idea what its purpose is apart from being an antioxidant but I find that when I do use it my skin seems a little healthier.
When I first tried it, I felt a slight tingling and heat which dissipated when I added on my oil during the next step. I do alternate between EUK and Pycnogenol from time to time

I have been using this serum for 2 months.
It definitely helps my skin recover from sun damage.
At first I found it to be too strong and too greasy. But when I mix it with the Natural Moisturizing Factor + HA, it absorbs much better.
I also apply it to my neck and arms. My skin is smoother.
It works well under sun block when I go to the beach.
Will certainly buy it again.
