I have not used this for very long, only a few days so far and I already notice smoother, plumper skin and my large pores looking better! I used to use the night serum, I often forget how great the RoC products really are. They’re not too pricey but have the look, feel and effectivness of a more high end brand. I try to keep my beauty care routines simple with few products, but about to turn 39 and noticing it in my face, so its time to kick it up a notch with my skin treatment! This product seems very effective as a gentle anti aging treatment. Even my beauty-junkie teen daughter tried it for acne and she liked it a lot and said it made her face plump and dewy.
I plan to keep using this every night along with my vit C serum.

Lately I’ve been doing some reading on retinol and learning about the benefits of its use beyond anti aging.. After turning 31 a month ago, I thought that my beauty routine is lovely, but it was still missing an important component that I hadn’t considered until recently.
I still hear that I look like I’m 18, but it certainly can’t hurt to try to maintain that. It’s nice to hear but I’m beginning to see fine wrinkles around my eyes and my smile lines are becoming more prominent. Generally, I try to keep my beauty routine pretty simple and as natural as possible.
First, I wash with Alba Botanica Acne Dote Deep Pore Wash. While my face is still wet from that, I use a wet washcloth to apply diluted Bragg’s Apple Cider Vinegar to balance my skin. Next, I follow that up with Thayer’s Rose Witch hazel Toner from a spray bottle. Then, I apply a couple drops of Acure Seriously Glowing Serum and Now Organic Rose Hip Seed oil. Lastly, I apply Rio Rosa Mosqueta Eye Contour Cream.
As much as the ACV does help dry out any acne and provide some balance, I continue to have bad break outs on my lower cheeks and have always struggled with blackheads around my lips and nose. It seems that my face just pours out oil regardless. It’s frustrating :/ I usually go through 3 or 4 oil blotting sheets a day. So, yes, I look young…but I pay a price for it in oil lol
So, I decided to start doing research. A lot of reviews say that these retinol creams dry out your skin. I thought…”hmmm, that could really help my acne a lot, especially if it doesn’t overly dry it to the point to where my skin is confused by it and irritated”. Initially, I considered Neutrogena’s Rapid Wrinkle Repair…but I ended up buying Roc instead. There were far less reviews about people breaking out and far more people raving about it. Dermatologists recommend this one often. People wrote about how it seemed to plump up their skin, fill in lines. Others say to be careful for sensitive skin, it’s very drying.
I placed my order on ebay and paid around $10 for Roc Deep Wrinkle Filler. I’m on day 2 of use and my face has cleared up EXPONENTIALLY. The horrid breakout on my jawline has faded and is being replaced with glowing, plumped skin. No peeling in spite of using it twice a day, once in the morning and once before bed. No irritation just slight tingling. I loooooove the way my skin looks and feels! Honestly, I wish I had started using this stuff a long time ago. It’s amazing. Now we shall see how it wears under makeup…
Greatly looking forward to adding more Roc products to my routine, in the future. For now, I will continue to use Roc Deep Wrinkle Filler and update this review in a few months, as it seems this might be a permanent part of my regimen. Hopefully this is helpful to someone 🙂

Update:
I’m sooo happy to say that I’ve only been seeing continued progress with this product. All of the acne on my chin, jaw and neck is gone. It is also fading the darker spots in this same area, from cystic acne repeatedly popping up in the same spot. Now it looks like nothing was ever there to begin with :). Honestly, I’m still shocked. In every way, this stuff is amazing!
Now, on the rare occasion that I break out, it’s much easier to pop the pimple and it disappears within a couple of days. It’s almost as if Roc’s Deep Wrinkle filler pushes that gunk to the surface of your skin, drains it (you can literally feel the fluid draining out of the acne) and quickly works to help repair skin.
As far as the anti-aging benefits, it is hard to tell. I don’t have many wrinkles. Overall, though, this product has greatly improved the texture of my skin. For the first time, in a really long time, I don’t have to worry about layering makeup on over my acne. I can finally feel confident going out in public bare faced.
TIP: Roc Deep Wrinkle Filler is great as a primer before make up. It smooths out your skin so that foundation application is flawless. So happy to have discovered this one.

This did not fill or re-plump my skin in any way. Fine lines never looked any different at all after a few weeks of use. I’ve had better results with Neutrogena. The only positive was that this did not break me out or irritate my sensitive skin.

This isn’t inexpensive, but compared to the price of some wrinkle creams it’s a bargain. There is all sorts of hype with various anti wrinkle creams, but retinol is proven to work. Granted OTC version are not as potent as RX one, OTC may be a better choice for those with sensitive skin. I have been using this just over a week ever nigh before bed and have already noticed an improvement in my skin. I have fine lines under my eyes and rather deep creased 11. The 11 has been very hard to diminish up until now. While the 11 is still there it is a lot less noticeable. I have used the original night time RoC before and while I had great results it would irritate my skin after a few days. Thus far, no irritation even without using a moisturizer afterwards.

I have waited a long time to review this product because I was really on the fence about it. On one hand, it moisturizes and plumps up my skin a bit, which I know helps the appearance of wrinkles. On the other hand, my very fine lines are still visible to me. I was expecting this product to eliminate or blur them at least, given that they are not very noticeable, but this product does not do that. I think that the effect is perceptible only on deep wrinkles, not at the early stage of aging.
Update: I have noticed when I apply a generous amount of product to my face at night that my fine lines are indeed a bit less visible. In addition, this has a pore-shrinking effect which is to my great surprise. I am adding on a lippie for this.

I bought this as a wrinkle filler, but it actually wirks better as wrinkle repair. I can actually see new pink skin forming inside my deepest wrinkle ( one of the 1’s in my eyebrow 11’s ). This is after 3 weeks. Amazing. Going to try it on my old acne scars.

I didn’t really notice any difference when I used this on my skin

Absolutely a wonderful product for fighting wrinkles. Retinol is clinically proven to fight the signs of aging and for the price, it’s extremely worth it. Although I wouldn’t recommend using this everyday because of irritation from the retinol, this truly delivers. Gives high end department store brands a run for their money.

This is a MUST. I was ready to get filler injections for my smile lines. After 1 week of use I look like I have 25 year old skin again. I pair it with an SPF 15 for day time since retinol makes your skin sensitive to the sun. This product is definitely worth the purchase. I have tried the night one before but did not get the same results and the cream was heavier/greasy. This one smells nice, is light and I get a slight tingle which is enjoyable. The best part is it has diminished those deep smile lines. I found this one at Publix for $5 off making it $15! Normally I have seen it for $20 – $22. Worth the price because at 36 to not have any injections and great skin is PRICELESS!
