I absolutely loved this! It made my skin so flawless, but with the price I can rarely afford it.

This is such an amazingly versatile product. Unlike pretty much the rest of the Skinceuticals line, this is very soothing and gentle. This helps so much with redness and irritation, angry cystic acne as well, but not just on your face! Ladies I use this after bikini/brazilian waxes to calm my skin down! It works amazing. Also great for sun burns. Can be added into pretty much any skincare routine. I go through this product so quickly because of how much it can be used for. Unfortunately, it is a pretty penny for my budget, but would recommend to anyone, and would definitely purchase again.

This light green gel-fluid is very good for clogged pores: it does not totally eliminate them, but it gradually empties out the pores **potential gross alert** so that instead of being stuffed with spaghetti sized comedones, they are more like thin filaments, like threads. This is a huge improvement for me. It did this without causing irritation or flaking of the skin, which has always been a problem with other products I have used. The greeness of the solution is not a problem, it never shows up when spread thinly.
BTW, it neither improved or worsened the dilated capillaries associated with my acne rosacea, but that was not the primary reason I used it..

A pretty useless product IMO. I received a large sample of this and the B5 Hydrator when I got an IPL at a medical spa. I was simultaneously sold the ZO Skinhealth line, which I’ll review separately. I was advised if the retinol in the ZO made me too red or I felt irritated after the IPL to use the Corrective Gel. It did absolutely nothing for my skin. Really, I’m not sure what this is supposed to do? According to their website it should soother, calm and hydrate irritated and sensitive skin with it’s anti-inflammatory properties. It should also minimize discolouration. It did none of these things for me. If anything, the ingredients list seems irritating, why add fragrance and colouring?
I far prefer the B5 hydrator, I bought the full size of that. It hydrates and layers great with other products, only contains like 4 ingredients and none of them are fragrance or irritants.
Ingredients (taken from the Skinceuticals website):
aqua / water / eau, glycerin, propylene glycol, phenoxyethanol, polysorbate 80, sodium benzoate, sodium hyaluronate, hydroxyethylcellulose, disodium edta, olea europaea(olive)leaf extract, benzophenone-4, butylene glycol, parfum / fragrance, citrus grandis extract / grapefruit fruit extract, cucumis sativus fruit extract / cucumber fruit extract, thymus vulgaris extract / thyme extract, benzyl benzoate, benzyl alcohol, alpha-isomethyl ionone, morus alba root extract, linalool, ci 42090 / blue 1, ci 19140 / yellow 5, sodium hydroxide, citric acid

My lousy oily, sensitive and rosacea-prone skin underwent a series of 4 Clear & Brilliant laser treatment earlier this year. I was hoping for an improvement to my skin texture, and that I got in spades. While my skin still looks poor with freckles, minor telangiectasia and naturally large pores, it’s VERY smooth to the touch. I noticed my laser technician applying this serum right after each procedure, and she gave me several samples to try nightly at home. Sure why not, right?
This is a dark green serum that could easily stain your skin if you let it sit as a concentrated drop for too long. Nevertheless when I apply sparingly to my face, no Shrek-ness appears. It’s got a strong herbal scent so watch out if you’re sensitive to that. After going through couple of samples I was thinking hey, this is quite nice! By itself it’s enough hydration for my skin and any redness gets taken down overnight. Seems to heal minor breakouts fast also. I ended up purchasing a full size bottle which I probably wouldn’t have done without the 20% discount I got. I then had a look at the ingredients list:
Aqua, Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, Polysorbate 80, Arctostaphylos Uva Ursi Leaf Extract, Phenoxyethanol, Citrus Grandis Extract/Grapefruit Extract, Parfum, Sodium Hyaluronate, Thymus Vulgaris Extract, Cucumis Sativus Seed Extract, CI 19140/Yellow 5, CI 42090/Blue 1.
Does it NOT look impressive or what? Sodium Hyaluronate coming after fragrance?! Also, it’s nothing like the shorter ingredients list floating around the internet. I’m in Canada – do we get a different version here?
In the end though, I decided to not care. It’s still hydrating my skin nicely. It’s still calming my skin down. I’ve even grown to enjoy the scent which is very odd as I vastly prefer fragrance-free skincare. It’s about $68 CAD including taxes when I got it and at the rate I’m going, it should last me a long while. I would recommend you to obtain a sample first (as with all Skinceuticals products – some are frankly grossly overpriced for what they are) and see if this strange little green serum does anything for you. I’m still a bit surprised it works so well with my skin, to be honest.

Brightens face and zaps out redness from irritation. My skin cleared up.

my skin is oily, sensitive, and acne prone and i love to use this product as my moisturizer. despite my oiliness my skin will flake in a heart beat and this serum prevents that 100 percent. i recommend this to anyone looking for hydration with no oily or sticky residue.

My skin: Combo-oily, sensitive (among others, my skin takes the habit of breaking out in hives when it doesn’t like something I eat or put on my skin), SD/PD-prone. OSPW. Fitzpatrick IV. Freckles and PIH from hives.
I got a sample vial form a local aesthetic clinic. I find this nicely hydrating but quite light for that purpose. It doesn’t leave the face sticky and dries matte. It works well in humid environment, but this doesn’t help my skin in office environment.
It’s good that my skin doesn’t react to this, though, since I got a SD flareup from the B5 Hydrating Gel, so I was a bit skeptical. This doesn’t irritate my skin or make me breakout or clog. I didn’t have much irritation to begin with and I haven’t used it long enough to see if it actually lightens hyperpigmentation. My sunscreen, AHA and Retin-A do it for me already.
However, the price is outrageous for what it does. Aldi Lacura Aqua-Complete Multi Intensive Serum gives more hydration. Too bad it’s fragranced and I can’t wear this around the eyes. Despite the light “botanical” fragrance, it doesn’t irritate the skin around my eyes, so I use it there. I think for lightening and hydrating, there are better or as good products out there in a fraction of price.

this is a great product – i was recommended it by my facialist following a bout of horrible acne on my neck. i had large swollen bumps under the skin as well as white heads / pustules and a lot of redness. I stopped using a lot of the strong anti-acne products that i had been using (AHAs, BHAs and benzoyl peroxide) and just started using a delicate cleansing cream from Dermaquest and this gel as a moisturiser. this completely calmed down my skin – the redness and swelling went down very quickly and the spots subsided after about a week. it is 4 months now and the acne has not returned.
This product feels very soothing and is sufficient moisturiser for my combination skin.
As an additional plus, following a few months of using this a sun-spot on my cheek which i got from being very badly burned a few years ago has almost completely faded. this is a pricey product but i think it is excellent for sensitive and combination skins. it will calm down redness caused by acne and will not cause spots.

This serum did not lighten my hyperpigmentation or calm redness. It felt like the hylauronic acid b5 serum with a hint of green. This left the skin a little sticky and slightly green which made the face look dull. This did not irritate the skin or cause any reaction no breakout or extra redness. The serum gives light hydrating moisture to dehydrated oily skin thats about it. It did not do what it claimed. Basic hydrating serum not worth the price.
