No foundation makes my skin look so bad as this one does. I have gone out of my way to make this work. Shake it well, use a sponge, use a brush, moisturiser, no moisturiser, a new moisturiser, use less product (1,5 drop), mix it with rosehip oil, use rosehip oil beforehand and let it sink in,.. I have rosacea so can’t use a scrub exfoliator, so I bought mandelic acid to exfoliate to make this serum work. Nothing helped, I have been trying new ways every now and then for the last 5 months and this serum foundation accentuates every imperfection on my skin, and makes me look so dry. I struggle finding foundations that work with rosacea and the ingredient list looked promising, but I regret spending this much money on a product I absolutely hate. I tried the samples and was told they could look a bit off because you have to shake the oils in this foundation well and that wasn’t possible with the small sample size. Sad to throw this in the bin.

Highly recommend getting a sample pack for $15.00. This covers much much better than Kosas. I like both. I think I like this one better. My skin loves this line. Don‘t let the price dissuade you. A little goes a Long Way…

At the dawn of creation when serum foundations first came on the market think L’Oreal’s Liquid Powder, Armani’s Maestro(the ingredients are identical to the L’Oreal one with a minor exception of a few bits of essential oils), I was sure I would those foundations, boy-oh-boy was I wrong. They just sat on the surface and looked like an other-worldly floating layer of sheer face paint. I have an excellent complexion, not dry, not oily, no dark spots go figure.
Fast forward to the space age and I see Kosa’s(love, love the packaging), Gressa and another that I have already forgotten about.
Now the Gressa review: sadly, very sadly this looked awful on me. I used maybe three small drops that I place the back of my hand(palette) and added a little face oil…too mask-like, tried again with a moisturizer…nope. I guess it is incumbent upon me to let you know that I am a commercial make-up artist and received a lovely and huge press kit from Gressa. I maintain a roster of a few clients(non-models)and with exception of two people no one liked it and I am talking an age range of 22-65.
I wish there was a category for their eyeshadows or as they are called “eye tints”, because they are sumptuous. the colors remind of exquisite gems; there is an almost, but not quite a black eye tint which is laced with a heavenly indigo blue(Charbon), I used that on both my upper and lower in rims of my brown-gold eyes…and wow wow!! The shadows do not budge until you are ready to remove your makeup, there is also an aubergine(Obscur)shade that is equally to die for. Gressa also has what I now consider to be some of the finest non-sparkle-shimmer-frost eyeshadows. There is a beauty of a socket color called Roasted which can be used very lightly as a contour under the lip, the tip of the nose, define the temples. Forget about Armani’s Eyes To Kill and check out these shadows. You need so very little that I cannot imagine anybody(including me)that could use up the contents in the sweet glass pot which has a rose-gold lid. At $36 they are not inexpensive, but the quality, longevity, ease of application(finger or brush), no smearing or smudging makes the Gressa Eye Tint a bargain.

I really love the coverage this gives as well as the lumious finish. Applied with a brush it gives me medium-full coverage and a lovely texture/finish. However this settles into fine lines so bad and there is SO much transfer with this. I can literally rub the coverage off my face and yet I need to oil cleanse to actually remove it. I tried setting it with a setting powder which did nothing but remove the lovely lumious finish. It would have been so perfect if both of these problems were significantly reduced. I wish it would have worked out because it is the fuller coverage and glowy finish I prefer and that is so hard to find in the green beauty world.
For reference my shade match was either 1.0 or 2.5. I have neutral ish undertone and prefer leaning more to yellow than pink undertone in my foundations. I use 00 in rms uncoverup, neutral 1 in alima pure.

I was curious about this foundation after seeing Lisa Eldridge use it in a tutorial. So I got a bunch of samples of the light colors, and the lightest shade is a perfect match for my skin. I was quite impressed with this product: you need so little product to achieve a medium to high coverage. I use a Beauty Blender with this and the finish is satiny on my mature, combination skin. The only part of my face where the finish was powdery was on my chin, where I am the oiliest. The foundation held up pretty well for 8 hours, but it`s still pretty chilly now, so the question is how this would work in summer. I will probably repurchase.

I’ve had a sample of 1.0 for a while now, it lasted me a good 2 months!, and finally took the plunge and bought the full bottle. This has to be my favorite ” glowing skin” foundation. It’s such a light and watery foundation that sinks into the skin and really just looks natural.
The 1.0 has yellow to it that works well with my N-10, NC15 skin. I was between this and the 2.5 but was worried that one would appear too pink on me. This one seems just right, if a little light on my.
Now it’s funny because I was advised this foundation was for people with combo skin because it helps control excess oil by drying to a powdery finish. Strangely enough I don’t get powdery in this except on my chin where I have uneven texture, nothing like the Kjaer Weiss disaster however, but that’s just because I’m super dry there and just normal to dry every where else. I get a very luminous finish with this due to the oils but it’s not overly glowy. I feel like the dry down helps it set in most areas but my forehead, nose and cheeks tend to show that bit of sheen throughout the day.
Honestly, as someone with dry skin, I LOVE the sheen it gives with the oils. It’s just so nice and makes me look like I’ve been getting my daily water intake x 1000. Otherwise I tend to look dry and old with anything too matte or even satin.
The dropper is good but just like with the Custom Cover drops I am wary of the crack spillage where the top screws into the base. I’m hoping it’ll steer clear of that.
Overall my #1 natural foundation!

I like this better than Sappho! I’m shade Lisa in Sappho and I use 3.5 in Gressa. First thoughts:
– Very natural
– Amazing coverage in just 1 drop
– Moisturising
I used two drops for my whole face. I can see using maybe 1 more drop for more coverage. I brought it up to my eye as well and could have walked out the house without adding concealer. So happy with it!
I love Sappho but I find it a bit drying and too thick compared to Gressa. I also use RMS Uncover Up in 33, which I really love. My only gripe with RMS is even though it’s very pigmented the coverage I still find sheer. With Gressa, I use an oval buffing brush (from Sappho) and it just blends and melts into my skin. I highly recommend the Gressa illuminator too, the finish is so pretty, its pearly and has a pinkish-purple sheen to it, it really brightens up the face.
I guess the true test for this would be using it in summer weather. It gets intensely humid and hot where I am so I’m interested to see how this will hold up.

I’m really liking this foundation! I discovered it when I watched Emily Cheshers tutorial on YouTube. I have it in shade 2.5 and it’s perfect. Feels really light on the skin and gives a smooth natural look, you can hardly tell you have it on!

Oh seriously, a green beauty manufacturer has made it : 1/ to make me buy foundation and actually finish it 2/make a luminous but matte foundation that beats EVERY conventional foundation while looking like the new “skin inks” full of silicones and alcohol without actually being composed of any of these. Ingredients are a bliss for the skin. What difference does it make, that you are actually taking care of your skin while looking your best ? it makes all the difference 🙂
I will buy and buy again. Colors are a little difficult to match but do not hesitate to ask for sampling, so many green sites are providing those. Gressa is of great help too if you send them a picture.
I wear this in 3 or 1.5 in the winter. 3 to 4 drops are enough (yes true !) and I promise you’ll get the most beautiful skin without looking you’re wearing anything. I can’t say enough about this foundation, about Gressa products in general. I will never buy a conventional beauty product again, the green industry has realized huge milestones in the development of such nice make up products, it’s incredible.

Incredible. Amazing. Love it. Full coverage no. But if you want to look like your skin is gleaming and glowing, it’s your baby. Can you mix with an HD for more coverage? Hell yes. It’s like the healthiest bloody foundation ever made. My skin looks great.
Look it’s not cheap, but nor is Armani, Chanel etc. And we buy into those all the time.
Not suggesting you can’t have both but given the fact we all want to use “healthier” make up, this is your ticket for both application and results.
For the record, combo skin, pores can be large if I use wrong product (Chanel toner …the purify one is a keeper on that front btw.) I am pale but love a warm glow so i tend to go one shade darker, at least.
I love all the Gressa skin, blusher, bronzer etc.
