I really like this mask! It has a hydrating and cleansing effect on my skin, it brightens and refines.I also like that it has a transparent gel like consistency and is easy to take off. Definitely a convenient and effective mask for my combination dehydrated skin!

I really enjoy using this mask. It has a lovely ”grainy gel” texture and it smells delicious! Also, it comes in a beautiful jar.
I use this mask in the evenings and my skin does look more even in the morning
after. I find the mask to be mild, perfect for those who are new to AHA’s. It does not irritate my skin at all. And as a new mom, I appreciate that I only need to leave it on for five minutes. Good value for money too.
I would say that if you are a regular AHA user, this mask may not do much for your skin in terms of chemical exfoliation. Nevertheless it is a really nice product.

This is such an unusual face mask but I love how it brightens my skin. It gives you both a physical and chemical exfoliation that leaves skin both brightened and as smooth as can be. I picked this up from Ulta and highly recommend it. It has a pleasing scent that is wonderful as the mask is sitting on your skin. This is a regular for me now and I use it once or twice a week.

I’ve been using the travel size of this and I really want to get the full size. It applies easily and doesn’t irritate my skin. It has a nice, clean scent to it without being overwhelming. It also has little “volcanic rock” pieces that gently scrub the skin when you first put it on. Overall, this is a nice chemical peel mask without breaking the bank.

I personally love this product because you can remove it in two different ways and see the same results. For me, I get satisfaction of actually rubbing off the product from my face and seeing the rolled product. I can see the color change from all the dead skin coming off. I love the smell and the packaging. I definitely think the price point is good because of how long it can actually last you. I’ve had mine for three months now and it looks like I haven’t even made a dent in it. I love the Vichy brand. After I use the mask I apply the mineral 89 to moisturize!

This is a really good mask. The feeling of this applied on your face is a tingling cooling sensation, and it slowly dries to become a layer of light granulating layer. It exfoliates very gently, and might not even seem to be exfoliating until you wash off the mask and see that your pores are completely cleaned and your face feels smooth, clean, and looks glowy. washing it off is easy as it’s just like washing jelly off your face. love the smell of this as well, very floral citrusy and fresh. would definitely repurchase.

I don’t like to create bad reviews and I do believe I’m typically a fan of Vichy products. If nothing else, I love their packaging and simply adore their name! So it is unfortunate I must give this product a poor rating. It did NOTHING to or for my skin. I expected some sort of peel, as I admit I have given myself many professional and chemical peels & may be a bit biased or spoiled in that regard. Maybe you will have a different experience but if it is like mine, I would not recommend it. On the positive side, however it doesn’t hurt or even tingle like traditional peels do. It also doesn’t smell bad.

Out of all three masks Vichy now has this one I dislike the most. It irritated my skin and turned it red. Vichy claims it’s a mild AHA mask with volcanic rock bits in it – hence the ‘double’ in the name, it combines two forms of exfoliation, vegetable-derived AHAs and physical grains. It works in 5 minutes, mask is applied and first the AHAs work and after 5 minutes user is supposed to massage skin gently with the volcanic rock bits that further exfoliate skin. And finally – rinse with water. The expected results are brighter and more evenly toned skin (product description has all the right words ‘luminous’, ‘glow’, ‘radiance booster’. Well, I applied mask on clean face, it smells citrusy and nice actually, doesn’t tingle much at first. After a minute or so it started to feel hot and then I looked in the mirror, and for sure, skin’s turning red. That’s not good, I thought and washed it off, then I felt the volcanic rock! That wasn’t pretty, even splashing water on skin I felt some of the rock bits and on skin that is already being irritated by the mask those bits felt harsh. Miserable experience, took my skin a few hours to calm down. My skin is usually fine with acids, I even do regular peels with unbuffered 70% glycolic acid and that one doesn’t upset skin half as much, and I can easily tolerate other acid products as well (Neostrata’s range, PC 8%, PTR 10% Glycolic range). This mask, though, something in it definitely didn’t agree with my skin, even though Vichy specifically claims it has been tested on sensitive skins.

This is an exfoliating mask using fruit acids and a pinch of finely ground pumice. Has a light scent of cassis, apples and musk that I don’t really like but I am really particular about fragrance. This is a light peach colored gel that is easy to apply and rinse off. I leave this on from 5-30 minutes and it leaves my skin soft and smooth. There are not a lot of pumice exfoliating granules in this mask and they are ground very fine. This mask is not irritating to my combination skin but I am used to using 10% glycolic acid pads. I use this 3 times a week. Comes attractively packaged in a glass jar with a cool mirrored lid.
