My over 50 skin (combination) is very sensitive and highly allergic. I’ve been searching for 2 years for a gentle but effective eye cream. Unfortunately my favorite was discontinued: Neutrogena Ageless Essentials Continuous Hydration Eye Cream.
I have tried many eye creams and had allergic reactions including stinging, burning and swelling. I won’t name them because it wasn’t the fault of the products – it was my super sensitive skin!
Have been using this product for a month and my skin is calm! What a relief. This is gentle but moisturizing. I use this in the morning and before bed. It works well under foundation and concealer during the day (doesn’t pill) and I use only this overnight (night creams are too heavy for my skin). It doesn’t migrate into my eyes at all.
Ordered online at their website with free shipping. Even though it’s more expensive than drugstore brands, a little goes a long way so I think it’s worth it.
Thank you to all of the MUA reviewers! I saw the Ahava line at Ulta and decided to try it because of the reviews on MUA.

I have a sensitive but oily, acne prone skin. This is a really light eye cream which does not give me white dots around my eyes like other eye creams do! It sinks in quick and is far enough moisturizing for my oily skin.
But if you have dry skin, it definitely will be too light and drying for you.
If you already have a greenish topcoat, then this is too dark and can come in easier for you. I recommend wearing it for four hours to slow the drying process.
However, you won’t want to leave it for too long because the pores make it difficult to close.
But if you have psoriasis and avoid this cream, you won’t be able to remove them completely. So, I give this to everyone and you are FREE to disregard any mask you love and use it!

Great at first, not good long term. I agree with the other reviewers who said nice things happen when you apply this product. What I found, however, was that while it softened the look and feel of my under eye area quite nicely at first, it had the odd effect of drying the area over time – after about three weeks of use. I tried the experiment a second time six months later (because I still had plenty of the product), and the exact same thing happened again, at a different season of the year.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Pritezon from Perfect cover for wearing foundation but not using that foundation even with the soil painted under it. Sometimes all I want to do is simply avoid the puddle that’s lurking in your skin and get right back in here. Bought this for my three years of practice who spends about $5 a month per person and usually never uses it. Upon opening the mine I noticed how thin the coating is, as these are bits of water, clay and snail slime (with much better resistency) which would really irritate my face. I had to look in the room and see how thin they were though and knew it was bad. The foundation had become so brittle that I had to literally put together the foundation in the tree when I was going to stay away from home. I ended up wearing the foundation with the summer shift to’make my makeup more dry and non-confusing’.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Chloe from Great kit This is a great kit for beginners to make sure your skin makes it to the fray. I had to use it with Kona down to make mine bright in a lip gloss or otherwise get oily on a basic day. Great product and the scratchless coverage when applying foundation in evening or under the sun is an amazing bonus. The look with cool sun isn’t as much of a problem after my long-wear days. 🙂
Rated 4 out of 5 by DrMelricia from Prepares face well for extremely sunburn Just last week I ordered another foundation which I thought would last my entire looking. I use it with Kona and I found its every look! Have to say…this is great for everyone who takes care of their face. It covers completely well and all that residue from mixing your foundation then drying it out. This is a great primer for sunscreen as well. Also the process will lengthen your skin which is usually the downside. Also it doesn’t give any moisture to your skin as you won’t be able to prevent it from getting damp or drying out. Overall a fun, versatile and all around good primer.

Really like this. It melts right in to the skin around my eye. It smooths the fine lines around my eyes. If you have longer nails it is a little hard to get the product out of the jar. A little trick I learned is to put it on the corners of your mouth to smooth those lines as well

I keep looking for a “better” eye cream. This eye cream made the skin under my eyes very soft which was really great. Unfortunately, it gave me absolutely no moisture. If anything, it seemed to dry my skin out. I wish my experience was similar to what others who’ve used this had…
It did have a nice cooling feeling when I put in on.
I don’t like the packaging – I hate sticking my finger into bowls.
It is also a bit on the expensive side – I did get it from HSN for a few bucks cheaper but still. We’ll, it’s going back. I’ll be sticking with 100% Pure.

I have been using this for about three or four weeks now and really like it. I am 47 but only just now starting to have lines under my eyes when I smile. This seems to moisturize well – hopefully preventing any more for at least a while. It seems to work well under makeup and my eye area still feels moist and soft in the morning after using it the night before. Not all of the products I have tried do that. I will definitely repurchase. It’s not cheap, but it’s less than others I’ve tried that didn’t work as well.
EDIT: Just like pretty much every other product I have tried for my undereye area, this one soon lost effectiveness and quit hydrating like it should…I have no idea why this happens to me, Sigh…

I bought this at Winners so it was a good price. I love this cream, gentle and soft and doesnt’ break me out at all. I think it is making my skin much softer and my fine lines less noticable.

I bought this for my mother for her birthday, but it turns out she doesn’t use eye cream, so she re-gifted it to me. And though it is more expensive than any eye cream i would normally EVER buy for myself, i LOVE it!!! it doesn’t burn, it’s a lovely silky consistency, and i think it really does soften the skin around my eyes. highly recommended.

Immediate results! I love this under makeup and it truly seems to deliver quickly to smooth fine lines, reduce puffiness, and lighten dark circles. I’ll update about the long term results in a month or so.

Ahava’s Mineral Eye Cream is divine. Much nicer than the Kiehl’s Abyssine Eye Cream that always receives such good reviews. Very hydrating, not sticky or heavy feeling, Mineral Eye Cream works terrific under makeup as well as on its own over night. It feels very luxurious going on, and kept my little expression crinkles from showing up all day long, even under my cream concealer and powder foundation pair.
You get 1 full ounce for $30 or so – a great deal for such a gentle, soothing, hydrating and line-diminishing eye cream. The only issues I would have with this product are the packaging – it comes in a little jar rather than a more sanitary tube or pump; and that is is fragranced, albeit very lightly and to me pleasantly.
