I know that not everyone will like this and it will not suit every skin type. Don’t use it if your skin is dry or if you don’t have any real problems in the eye area. But I love this product and let me tell you why.
The area under my eyes has been my biggest skincare problem since forever. I have puffy bags under eyes and dark circles and that is the ugliest combination ever. On a bad day I look like I have bruised eyes even with make up. And where I live due to lack of sun every day is a bad day during winter and spring period. I have tried products in price range up to 100 euros – YSL, Estee Lauder and so many, many more. They might be great, but they don’t do anything for my main concerns. I just accepted the fact that this is a genetic thing and that no diet or scincare product can change it.
I will soon turn 30 and decided it is time to try retinol products. Paula’s Choice 1% Retinol cream has been great for the rest of my face. So after reading some dermathologists’ view that it is a myth that you cannot use retinol in the eye area I tried to do that, but it was too strong, the skin became really dried, irritated and started flaking. I bought Palmer’s as a cheap product just to use it to mix it with Paula’s Choice cream to make it less intense and gradually build up the skin around eyes to tolerate the 1% retinol cream.
I have used only the Palmer’s on the area under my eyes for 2 weeks now and for the first time ever I actually see that any product has any postive effect. It is still long time until summer but even without concealer I don’t look like homocide victim. I am so amazed and incredulous that I still cannot believe it. I actually registered here to write my first review because I know there are girls with the same skin concerns and this is the product for us.
Word of caution – the skin gets dryer than with other eye creams. I had the same effect on the rest of my face when I first started using retinol. I hope the skin will get used to it over time. So you might want to start by using it every other night or by mixing it with some other product. If you have dry skin, you might want to stay away from it completely. But bloody hell, this is truly a miracle cream for me and I still cannot believe this.

This did not do anything for me at all. I have dryness under my eyes and am looking for something richer and creamier that will wear well under makeup and this is NOT it. My under eye concealer cakes up under this. For the price you can’t expect miracles, which is good because you won’t get any.

I am only 18 years old but after stressing so much about certain things, my lines under my eyes got so dark at one point even though I slept for so long!! I got this only because it was in a pack, and wow, I love it! The lines under my eyes have shrunk soooo much, it provides amazing moisture 🙂

Abit pricey in Australia, but I do enjoy using this. It has a nice subtle cocoa scent, smooths the lines under my eyes and has the consistency like of primer in my opinion.

I am very particular about my eye cream. My eye area is very dry, and I wear contact lenses. So I need a very hydrating eye cream that won’t give me milia. I don’t even care about correction of dark circles or puffiness, because I don’t get the former, and the latter goes away in a few hours. I saw that this eye cream had good reviews, and at under $9, why not give it a try? In short, this eye cream does nothing. However, it contains fragrance, despite the tube’s assurances, twice on a tiny tube, that it is non-irritating. What makes them think putting fragrance in a product that is used in the eye area is not going to be irritating?

Great price, great packaging, great texture, not so great peformance. I wasn’t too sure about commiitting to this cream so I decided to conduct a crazy exeriement for an entire month where I dabbed my existing nearly-finished expensive Clarins Special Eye Balm under my right eye and the dirt-cheap Palmer’s eye cream on my left. The right eye remained bright, and wrinkle-free. The left eye: seemed ok for a while and was sure I’d finally found a cheaper budget replacement for Clarins. But the longer I used it I’d notice that my left eye area seemed moisturised for a few hours and would then look tired-looking and haggard soon after. Fine lines starting appearing and to top it off – I developed a red angry rash of tiny pimples under my entire eye area. Imagine how silly I looked with one fresh smooth eye and one lined eye with a nice splash of dermatitis. I’ve given it this tube to my mother and have started applying the Clarins special balm to both eyes. Palmer’s in short was a miss for me and personally I think you’re promising alot when you claim your product is non-irritating.

This a lovely eye cream. I think i have tried every single eye cream on the market- l’oreal, Olay, Garnier, Boots, Superdrug…. everything!!! And what i have noticed is that dearer doesnt necessarily mean more effective! This is reasonably priced and a handy little tube with a pointed nozzle. I know this may seem like a minor detail but one eye cream i bought was in a little pot and you had to dip your fingers into it to apply. Eurgh. So this is nice. You can even dot tiny blobs directly onto your under eye with the nozzle.
Its a lovely rich, smooth consistency and easily absorbed. And ive been using it for about 6 weeks now and i can definitely see a difference! What attracted me to it was that on the side of the carton it listed the NATURAL skin loving ingredients in it, like shea butter etc. i hate the idea of putting all those doxyhexymexyclon-ey type chemicals on my face. The sad thing is though, that im finding it hard to get hold of. My local superdrug had it but isnt doing it any longer and i cant find it in any local chemists! Im down to my last of the current tube, and am on the hunt for a new one. I think it may be my HG of eye creams.

I really like this product. I have been using this eye cream for about 6 weeks now, so I cannot yet testify to the anti-ageing claims of this product, but it does a good job in hydrating my very sensitive under eye area. It has a nice texture and glides on and absorbs well. I have noticed that my eyes do look a little bit brighter in the morning, which is nice.

I wasn’t sure about this eye cream, but once I forgot to use it for a couple of nights and I really noticed a difference for the worse, I had small lines around my eyes that this cream was obviously helping.
That being said I don’t have many eye wrinkles to be worrying about, but I still find it to be effective.
The main reason I rated it highly is the price, I got this for $4 aus, so cheap! How could I not buy it, I’ve been impressed by this product considering it’s price, it’s a nice addition to my nighttime routine and would probably buy it again

I’ve been using this product on a daily basis for almost six months. It is wonderful. I have acne prone, sensitive skin and this hasn’t broken me out at all. Moreover, it absorbs quickly and makes the skin around your eyes feel moisturized, soft. Under $10 but worth so much more!
