There are so many good ingredients in this eye cream: Matrixyl Synthe ‘6; Peptides; Chamomile extract; Antioxidants; Vitamins B3, C, and E; Ceramides, etc. The scent is fresh, texture is lightweight yet smooth and hydrating, packaging can be recycled, and… it works! I would not recommend using a full pump of this eye cream, it would cover half your face, but if you only slightly depress the pump you will have just what you need to do the entire eye area. It can be worn under makeup with no issues, and at night – there is no puffiness upon waking as a result of this eye cream. Skin feels soft but completely dry after it absorbs in. If there was one thing I’d change it would be the packaging. I don’t mind it, but I would like to be able to control the amount dispensed with more control. If I forget to press only partially I waste product, well, not really because I just blend it out over more of my face, but I’d rather only use this around my eyes.

I have yet to find a Mad Hippie product that I don’t love and I’m not getting paid to write reviews for them. I just received my bottle of Mad Hippie Eye cream a few days ago. For the last 6 months, I’ve been using Rio Rosa Mosqueta Eye contour cream. I still like that product a lot, but I wanted to try an eye cream with peptides. If you’ve read any of my other reviews, you know I’m obsessed with Mad Hippie products, so I thought, “Why not try their eye cream?”.
As usual, Mad Hippie delivers some bomb ingredients. The price is definitely more than fair once you do a little internet search of the actives in this eye cream. I don’t particularly care for the pump this product comes in, it dispenses far too much. Definitely press lightly on the pump the first time you use it. However, I find that I don’t mind that it sometimes gives me too much. The texture is lovely. It’s not greasy. It absorbs into your skin quickly and provides a lovely glow. I really like this stuff. So, if I get a little extra, I enjoy putting it all over my cheekbones also.
Lately, I’ve been experiencing some dryness around my eyes from my use of Roc Deep Wrinkle night cream. This product has solved that problem tenfold. I also reaaaallly love that I can use this under makeup, the reason being that I have seriously oily skin and normally I can never do that with an eye cream. I’m really impressed with this product so far. Will definitely buy again.

I just went a week without Mad Hippie Eye Cream because I ran out. The bottle lasted me about over 6 months, which is not bad. However, I was only using it at night, before bed. I tried going back to Rio Rosa Mosqueta Eye Cream… but it just isn’t as good at MH. So I just ordered my second bottle. Nothing brightens, tightens and moisturizes my eyes quite like Mad Hippie. Think I will try out MH Face Cream next.

I ordered this on recommendation from No BS Beauty. I paid $24 from Ulta for 0.5 oz. It comes in a small plastic pump bottle. Nothing terrible but so far I am quite underwhelmed. Basically performs like a drug store eye cream such as Cerave (also good but not fantastic and less $$). My search continues for a hydrating day time eye cream to wear under concealer (still love Mario Badescu ceramide eye gel for night).

I’m only 22 and I’ve been using eye creams since 20, so I don’t have any lines for this eye cream to plump, but after one freak sleep walking accident, I ended up with a scar around my left eye ( I slept with my glasses on and sleep ran into a wall, don’t ask.) Because it’s the delicate area, the scar don’t receive the 10-step skincare routine the rest of my face does, even the sheet masks don’t reach that near to the eye, so I’m certain the only thing that lessens the appearance of that deep scar was this eye cream. 4 months in and the hypotrophic scar has been nearly filled, the hyperpigmentation vanished, overall the scar is barely visible now.
Besides that incredible plumping action, the cream consistency is so on point: it spreads easily, absorbs quickly and is very hydrating.The bottle has an excellent distributing mechanism that makes it so much harder to overuse, this 15ml bottle has lasted me for more than half a year! I would definitely repurchase this.

After applying the first day of buying this, I woke up with my right eye swollen. I’m certain it’s a reaction from this eye cream as this has never happened before. Sad because the ingredients seem to be very beneficial. Will be returning.

Mad Hippie seriously does skincare properly.
As with all of their other products, this eye cream isn’t heavy, is smooth, smells lovely, glides on beautifully, and sinks into the skin very well. I use such a tiny amount of this – maybe a bead the size of half a pea…? – and it completely covers my undereye area, inner and outer corners, and I also bring it up to my eyelids because why not? It makes the skin feel nice and tightened (that always makes me think it’s going to be uncomfortable), comfortably. It doesn’t feel harsh. This cream keeps the entire eye area fully hydrated.
I really don’t have any fine lines to speak of around my eyes. They’re very subtle, so I can’t quite say if I’ve seen an improvement because there wasn’t much to notice in the first place. I will say though that I’m sure this product will be a good preventative. I think I would have to use the product longer to see a major difference in lines (I’ve used it twice a day for over two months now).
This bottle is 15ml for $24.99 USD, It is a fine size and price because you need such a small amount to cover the eye area. I removed two lippies for the packaging because, like the face cream, you can’t see how much product you have left, which is something that bothers me. I also don’t know if the air pump (which is great, by the way – gives you great control over how much product you want to dispense) will be able to get all of the cream out when it’s getting low, or if I’d have to crack the thing open to get at the rest so as not to waste it. If I could see how much was left, I’d probably give it 4 lippies. Just a thing I find a bit bothersome. Overall, another excellent product from Mad Hippie.

I am liking the texture of this eye cream so far. It is quite thick, so I would not wear this under makeup, but I do use it at night to hydrate my eyes. I do not know if this has undergone a reformulation since the original reviews, but I find this cream to be quite moisturizing and non-irritating. It also smells mildly of chocolate when I apply it, which I actually like. For the hefty price, I would definitely need to think long and hard about repurchasing, but so far I am pleased.

Overall, a decent eye cream. It’s a “natural,” white-colored, thick lotion with a nice fluffy feel. However, after having used the whole tube, I can’t say it moisturized that well. It’s very expensive and I don’t think it’s worth the price. The skin around my eyes isn’t any more plump or smooth than before. I don’t expect miracles, but some results would’ve been nice.

Love the fresh feel and how it goes on – a little goes a long way to feeling moisturized and it sinks in quickly. I haven’t yet noticed any line softening, but have only been using it for about a week. I find the smell soothing, though each Pangea product definitely has it’s own scent and they are very distinct smells – much different than most products, either you like them or not (and I certainly don’t all Pangea products – some smell truly gross to me!).

I got the turkish rose eye cre in sample size from a starter pack. I do love this product, it is very creamy, moisturing and absorbs fast. It won’t leave any greasiness and I feel like it did help lighten my dark circle to some extent,since it’s just asample size product that it’s not enough time to really tell the difference. I would like to buy the full size product but I currently can’t find it in Australia.

At 40+, I hve some fine lines under my eyes that I would like to minimize. I used a sample of this last spring and thought it was making a difference so I splurged on the full-size product.
Turned out to be rather disappointing. I used it faithfully 1 or 2x daily for 3+ months and noticed no difference in my lines. In my opinion not worth the price. On the pro side, you only need very little at a time and so the tiny tube still lasts a long time.
I’m moving on to products with proven ingredients at effective concentrations like those available from cellbone and Devita.

I received a sample of this product from a recent Sephora purchase, and brought this to use on a recent trip. The product seemed normal in appearance and texture (no weird smell or color) – but within about a minute of applying this to my eye area, I experienced an extremely severe burning sensation, which was very painful, as if I had put hot acid on my skin. I normally apply eye creams under my eyes as well as on the outer corners and a little on the lid itself, and have never (out of the probably 20+ different eye creams I have used) experienced any kind of reaction like this – I have never experienced a reaction like this from any type of skincare or makeup product, period. Once I felt the burning, I looked in the mirror and noticed tons of tiny little clear bubbles appearing under my skin, in the exact place where I had tapped in the product. I immediately washed my face thoroughly, but the damage was done. The reaction was actually a lot worse than the pictures show – the tiny under-the-skin bubbles (blisters?) lasted for about 4 to 5 days, during which they were constantly burning, sensitive, and itchy – I couldn’t sleep at night because I felt the skin around my eyes were on fire. After the 4 to 5 days, the bubbles turned from clear to bright red, as the pictures show (the poor quality of the picture – taken at night, with flash – makes the reaction look a lot more benign than it was). At that point the burning lessened, and the feeling of irritation subsided, but physically the red marks were quite bright and obvious, and frankly I looked like a monster. It is now over 10 days since the initial application, and the red dots all around where I applied the product have still not disappeared – the bumpiness has gone down, but where the bubbles were are still very bright red, and the skin itself has turned extremely dry and uncomfortable.
As I mentioned, I have NEVER had any type of severe reaction like this to any eye cream, skincare, or makeup product. This makes me conclude that either 1) I am allergic to some ingredient that is unique to this product and not used by many other brands, or 2) the sample packet that Sephora sent me had expired. If it is #1, I urge everyone to first do a patch test of any eye cream on your hand or neck, somewhere that is not so sensitive – this is what I should have done, but didn’t do because I’ve never had a bad reaction to a skincare product in my life. If it is #2, either the manufacturer (Pangea Organics) or Sephora (as a market participant) should place an adequate warning of an expiration date on any sample packets they distribute to consumers, if there is any chance at all that the product could turn so hazardous.
However, I’m not convinced that my reaction was due to expiration of the product – because the product looked normal (no weird texture), and there was no odd smell at all. If it is indeed the case that there is some ingredient in this product that is capable of causing such a severe (and so far, long-lasting) reaction to the sensitive skin around the eyes, even if the chance of that occurring is limited to a small minority of consumers, the manufacturer (Pangea Organics) should have provided an adequate warning before distributing to the mass market a product that could be potentially quite dangerous.
I see that other consumers have had positive experiences with this product – so I am certainly not saying that this could happen to most people. But since it did happen to me, I wanted to warn my fellow consumers to at least do a patch test away from the eye area, or else this could happen to you too!

This is an excellent eye cream for people with sensitive skin… I’ve used other eye creams that have either had a gummy consistency or caused me to break out in a rash. This one goes on smooth and feels nice when applied. Nothing super special, but works well at the end of the day or as part of your morning routine. It’s definitely too expensive, but this whole skin care line is too expensive. (Don’t get me wrong – I LOVE these products… I just wish I didn’t have to save up to re-stock every few months)

I bought this product as a recommendation when I received a facial. I have never used an eye cream before therefore I have no othe product to compare this too. I do like the consistency of the eye cream. I travel a lot and at times I get little time to relax. The eye cream has reduced the lines under my eyes and the area under my eye is softer. I have not seen any changes that made me go WOW. The product is just too expensive. I really don’t think I will buy the product again. I may try the eye balm by Skinceuticals so I can compare the two items.

I bought this on recommendation from a woman that gave me a facial at Red Door. I’ve never used eye creams before and she told me I should start. Of course, she was hocking the products they are told to hock, and yes It is pricey, but a little goes a long way and I like its consistency/texture. I have sensitive skin (including rosacea) and I find I am not bothered by this product at all. It soaks in well and isn’t greasy. Even as a night cream, I do not wake up with irritation in the morning. As I have no prior experience with other creams, I would buy this again.

This was a sample from my dermatologist, but after the first night I used this eye cream, my eyes burned, got red and puffy. Next three days the lines under my eyes were very visible. And I am 27 years old. It ,definatly, is not for sensitive eyes. I think, for sensitive eyes like mine, phytomer is much safer.

Now this is an odd situation…I actually found this to be one of the better eye creams I’ve tried. Not overly oily, it moisturizes well and works as both a day and night eye treatment. However, after I’d used up my jar, I never bought it again. Now why is that? I think it’s because it failed to inspire any excitement with its use…yes, it moisturized. Yes, my lines were slightly less noticeable and any darkness was marginally better…but…I guess I just was ready to see what else was out there.
Interestingly enough, this is one of the few products I’ve actually used to completion and not just abandoned after half the jar was left, etc. I’m saying I’d buy it again because any objective evaluation of my experience would lead to that conclusion despite what has actually happened. Isn’t human nature odd? Guess that’s why marketing gurus make the big bucks!

One of the better Eye Creams that I’ve found.. after using it twice daily (morning and before bed) for a few weeks, my lines do seem to be fading ever so slightly. (Let’s face it, no product out there makes them go away completely). It moisturizes without being too heavy or greasy, and certainly doesn’t irritate my skin, which can tend to be sensitive at times. My only gripe is the price (I think I paid $77 CDN), and the fact that the pump bottle tends to dispense too much at times (it can be tricky to manage a half-pump). But, if the effects that I’m seeing so far continue until I finish the product, I don’t see why I wouldn’t buy it again.

I don’t know why everyone woldn’t buy this again! i’ve used hundreds of eye creams looking for one that actually dose what it claims and this is the best i’ve used. I have extreamly sensitive eye area and this dosen’t irritate it a bit. and i swear it helped a bit with dark circles whic is more than i can say for any other cream i tryed. as for the price, in this case, you pay for what you get. you only need a bit, i use it am and pm everyday and i lasts me about 9 months.

I just started using this product and so far it has done a nice job keeping my under eye skin hydrated. it does not burn or skin. I apply it around my orbital bone and to the side of my eye and has not caused any bumps or anything. Sometimes with eye creams I wake up the next morning with eye irritation after application of an eye product such as eye redness, bumps around delicate skin of the eye, or even eye goobers, but this has yet to happen. I am excited to see the results of this product considering it is all natural and doesn’t test on animals. I hope this product and their other products I am trying out from their line work!
Update: I returned this eye cream. the rest of the line didn’t work for me. It caused really bad intense facial flushing and I didn’t want to take a chance on the eye cream wrecking havoc on my face.

This is a good eye cream, but nothing spectacular. I haven’t noticed much of a difference to my under eye area (issues: fine lines, slight darkness, a little puffiness). It has a great texture, sort of a gel cream that sinks in nicely and makes skin feel good. I like the little pump bottle too, which makes dispensing easy. This was just an impulse purchase since I don’t think a separate eye cream is necessary. I’ve had better results from my Derma E DMAE face cream.

My former HG eyecream (Boscia) wasn’t doing the trick any more, so I bought Mad Hippie eye cream to moisturize and help out with my dark undereye area. It stings a bit initially due to the actives, so I usually only use this at night before bed. It has a light fruity scent that isn’t too strong and it absorbs quickly so you could use it in the morning under makeup if you choose to. I’ve been using it for the last two months and I don’t think I’ve noticed any improvement. Sometimes I use this as an all over facial moisturizer and it seems to brighten my face. I find it odd that the instructions say to use it on the undereye area and corners of the eyes only but not on the lid. I’ll finish the bottle but I don’t plan on repurchasing because I didn’t find this eye cream to be that effective.

Works great at moisturizing around the eye and brightens dark circles. Another positive is that you need very little product. To date, it is the best eye cream I have used. However, it is very expensive. I will continue to use it while trying samples of other products periodically to see if a cheaper cream works as well.

On its own, this product doesn’t work too great. It doesn’t feel like it really gets absorbed. However, when I layer it on top of the Pangea balancing oil, it sinks in so well and gets rid of my dark circles and lines SO MUCH! The only caveat is that I start to get small pimples sometimes around my eyes– I was not cool about that, so I am on the look out for something that can give the same awesome effect, without causing pimples. I also like that Pangea products are all natural, but they seriously need to consider at least adding some kind of natural preservative besides Vitamin E.
