What a HUGE waste of money!
I was looking for a brightening day cream that was cost effective for use when I am having a day where I don’t want to use up my expensive cream. This seemed to be right up my alley. Especially since it also said it evens tone.
Please don’t waste your money. It is GROSS. First it goes on like glue . No moisture whatsoever. Not a trace. The white cast is very difficult to get to absorb into your face. Rub it in for 5 mins and finally the white cast goes away; leaving you with a sticky dry face. Not to mention I started immediately sweating on forehead because it does not allow your skin to breathe at all.
I even waited 20 mins to see if the stickiness went away, but it did not. I cannot believe any person with any type of skin would enjoy or get anything out of this product!

This was re-named Even Tone Brightening Day Cream SPF 15. Comes in a pretty yellow glass jar with white lid. Unfortunately when they re-named it the formula was not upgraded. Its still super thick and difficult to apply but not moisturising. Leaves a slight white cast. Does not sink into skin properly. Its a rubbery feeling layer that pills off my face badly after a few hours. I look like a snake shedding white flakes of skin. Unwearable.

Received a nice little half ounce of this in last month’s Birchbox. Derma-E’s products are natural, cruelty free, 100% vegan and paraben free, so I was excited to try this SPF cream. Unfortunately, this cream applies very thick and leaves behind a white-ish cast (it has zinc oxide). It also pills off my skin after a few hours. Not even sure I’d wear this to the beach.

I received this cream from Birchbox as a generous .5 oz. sample. The cream is a little thick for my taste and I do not think that I would use this in the warmer months. The sun protection is pretty good. This cream has a tendency to pill a bit when apply other creams or lotions over it, which makes it less useful for me, especially for daytime use. I would not repurchase just because of the thickness and pilling. This may work well in other situations (like lounging by the pool), but I just do not see myself using it.
