   I have tried so many of the mineral facial sunscreens out there (tinted and non-tinted) and keep on coming back to this one. It’s an absolute favourite.

   As background I have dry, sensitive skin that breaks out quite easily. I have been using this sunscreen for over three years now and it’s actually improved the condition of my skin. I’m a Caucasian with slight yellow undertones (IY06 at Sephora). I live in hot, sunny and very humid locale and HAVE to wear sunscreen everyday.

   The cream is thick and the tint starts out dark, with a slight orange tone, however give it a few minutes and you don’t notice it at all.
   When you first put it on it can feel oily but again settles down to quite a matte finish. I have found, unlike other tinted sunscreens I’ve tried (including w3ll people and Suntegrity) this does not settle into my pores at all. Unlike Marie Veronique’s sunscreen (Which I also like) this is very moisturising. Yes it can feel thick at first but within a few minutes I don’t notice it anymore.

   Sun protection (I know I know the most important aspect) this is great! I carry a tin in my purse for reapplication every two hours and haven’t had an issue with sun damage or burning.

   Tint: this has sheer coverage. It’s not a stand in for foundation so I often will also apply some concealer if needed (gressa works well on top). There is some transfer to clothing but that’s to be expected.

   Overall I’ve loved this sunscreen and despite trying allllllll of the popular tinted mineral sunscreens out there, I keep coming back to this one. I have at least one in my purse at all times.

   I know Beautypedia wouldn’t be happy with the packaging but it’s convenient and I haven’t had an issue with it going off before I use it up.

   Raw Elements makes great products that are clean, effective and environmentally friendly for a very affordable price. This product is no different. Plus, their products are all reef safe!

   If you want to use this as an everyday tint, I think it’s too heavy for that since it’s thicker as to be water repellant for 80 minutes. This tint does a great job of evening out skin nicely while providing a light to medium coverage dewy finish. What really surprised me was that my daughter and I are very acne prone, and not only did it not break us out, it HEALED our current breakouts. I was downright shocked by this since it’s a thicker and dewy formula. It’s likely due to the clean and simple ingredients. Whatever the reason, I am diggin’ it! Also I have noted there is absolutely zero white cast because of the tint and when in the pool it did not sting our eyes. Yay!

   The container isn’t huge but since my daughter only use this a face and neck sunscreen, it lasted us ALL last summer with more than half left for this upcoming summer. I know this will be our go-to facial SPF every summer when it comes to our family’s long days at the pool and beach!
