This sunscreen looks much more elegant on my face than LRP cream sunscreens.
For reference I’m NC42 in MAC and Honey in Bobbi Brown.
I don’t find it too oily, it’s light, applies / absorbs well and looks good under makeup. I also use it on my body. There is a slight sheen but this is preferable to the white cast left by cream sunscreens. It has a light fragrance – my skin has no issue with it. I will definitely repurchase this product as it’s the most cosmetically elegant sunscreen I’ve used. You get a decent amount for the price, packaging is a pump bottle. I don’t sunbathe, but have not noticed any tanning from this product from incidental sun exposure.
From the LRP webiste:

I’m somewhat wary of the lack of whiteness in this attractive transparent sunscreen oil. Is it too good to be true?!
Does it really do the same job as all that occlusive white sunscreen? I need Anthelios to reassure me!
On the arms, it is fine – turn the bottle away from you when you use the non-aerosol pump as it can be a little erratic. The oil dries quite quickly. I don’t know if the oil stains the edges of clothing in the way that oils can- perhaps someone else can say.
Use on the face – this is a no-go – although the oil dries fast on the body, it is too greasy on the face – I cannot wait for the day when there is a reliable high factor, high UVA sunscreen that is transparent and MATTE and doesn’t sting on the face (low alcohol, not too much salicylic) Just as importantly it must not cause any shine/whiteness in photos.

Excellent high spf ss for body. It’s an oil in a pump bottle that goes on completely clear. Not a “spray” – it squirts out a small quantity that you then spread around, rather than a mist of droplets. I really like the fact that it adds a nice sheen to your legs and arms. Brings back memories of similarly shiny oil ss like Hawaiian Tropic oils and Bain De Soleil Gelee (which contained a lot of petrolatum, if I recall correctly), except this contains effective ss. Can’t imagine putting this on my face though, as my face is oily. Funny how we fight shine on the face, but on the body it seems sexy!
There is a soft, slight fragrance to this, but nothing very strong or offensive. I don’t remember what I paid, but I think it was about $20, and had to order this French version online. It does contain mineral oil AND alcohol. My skin is fine w/ MO, which is very bland and non-irritating, but some people may not want MO. I thought the alcohol would make it a bit drying, but it was not drying at all. Rather, it made the skin look and feel very healthy. I have used this and been outside in strong sun all day and got absolutely no burn or color, so it’s very effective. Overall, excellent body ss that gives a sexy sheen and is very effective.
