It’s ok. I bought it because a friend’s dermatologist highly recommended it – so i figured it must ge great, right?
It isnt great. Average at best. The cast isnt so bad, but it leaves that too shiny finish that never seems to sink in. There are other mineral sunscreens out there i like much better.
Cant say if it prevents sunburn, because i never actually spend any prolonged time in the sun anymore.
This this beauty has a form of birth defect. No wonder it looks something like the sun. Now my caretakers recommend natural sunscreens with this active ingredient in them. If that to just keep the cellulose out of your face it would be awesome,but i know they don’t. It takes forever to process, you take days to apply so you never add it back to the cream? Look how thick and oily the look is? I guess it’s a dermatologist perk just like if their doctor never told you not to use vitamin C or in some some other way.
I’ve been putting myself through these steroids for many years. They just don’t add much to my skin. I can live with poor sun protection, it just takes a while to work my hair out too. Every day has it more disfiguring when I’re red or oily. I’ve used one for 6 months with this product (yes the nasty tubes only last a week) and could not find any kind of part that worked for me, so this one is terrible no more

wow it is not for you I used it all my life and didnt ever need a sore foundation all day to moisturize. also a couple hours after taking the serum it didn’t stain my face very much. The only thing I want from this company is other brands that seem to have a much better buy clean water.
So if my skin is getting stinging I’d recommend this product because it stops people from sunburning and causes lots of skin problems like pimples and seborrhea.
I like it this way and when I do get sweaty the look, cleanse it thoroughly but with natural ingredients this helps my skin condition.
How easy do you think it is for me to come back from tanning with a healthy high? I guess you guys said otherwise. However even though it’s for sensitive skin it clogged my pores and I got a pimple on my cheek. I think it might be the castor oil. Just means I need a different sunscreen for my face.

Good for the day after retinoid use. I have to reapply a lot to stay protected. This is a gloppy white cream. Goes on shiny. Not at all elegant, but I don’t feel any itching or burning when I use it. It did not sting my eyes. I’ll keep returning to this because it works for me without discomfort. Some days, that is the best I can do. Edited 6/23/19: I’ve learned zinc IS a good, stable UVA filter, so now I love this s/s and wear it all the time.

I thought I would write a review for this product because everytime I use this sunscreen my blood vessels come to the surface and I look like I have spider veins wherever I put this sunscreen on my skin. I have tried many all natural sunscreens and I like this one because it doesn’t smell, its not greasy, it does leave a bit of a white sheen to your skin but not too bad. So wanted to love it but I am guessing I am allergic or I’m not even sure to zinc, as thats really the only ingredient in this product. Guess no more natural sunscreens for me :s Also as a side note for anyone still looking for sunscreen thats all natural go buy THINKBABY it smells amazing, isn’t greasy and EWG rates it at a 1!

I have been using this and other Blue Lizard formulas for over 11 years and while using I have found it to not cause breakouts, prevent sunburn thus preventing sun damage, non-greasy, waterproof, and even seemingly moisturize my skin somewhat. I highly recommend it to anyone, especially fair skinned people. Skin cancer is becoming more common than people realize and everyone should use Blue Lizard sunscreens daily and get checked by a dermatologist as often as possible. I should know, I had my first basal cell carcinoma in my early 20s. Education and prevention are key. My dermatologist recommended Blue Lizard products and I have been using them every since.

This stuff has been a miracle for me!
To say that my skin burns easily is an understatement. Just thinking about going out into the sunlight is enough to give me a sunburn. I have tried all sorts of high SPF sunscreens, like SPF 100+, but even through those I would still burn.
I brought this issue up with my dermatologist, and she recommended that I buy a bottle of Blue Lizard. I was a bit wary of it only being SPF 30, but I soon found that it out performed anything I have tried before. This is the only sunscreen I have that actually keeps me from burning!
Simply put: it is amazing.
The price may seem a bit steep, but this sunscreen is worth its weight in gold. It spreads nicely, so a little of it goes a long way. It may look a little white when it is freshly applied, but give it time to soak in and it will look just fine. There is no noticeable scent to it; it isn’t overly scented like some sunscreens. It has both Zinc and Titanium Oxide which really work at preventing sunburns.
I wouldn’t recommend trying to wear this sunscreen under makeup, as it is a bit too heavy for that, but I think this company also make a specialized face sunscreen. I have worn it on my face before and it did not cause me to breakout, which is a good sign considering my sensitive skin.
Overall, I recommend that anyone and everyone should try this sunscreen!

No white residue after it dries. Pricier than drug store brands, but will cause acne. Also it didn’t seem very effective as a sunblock. Maybe I expect too much from a mechanical variety.

This sunscreen is great! It’s effective and cheap.
It does make my skin look a little paler when I put it on, so I don’t use it when I’ve got a date or something like that. But for most days, it’s great because it’s cheap and it works really well. I’m glad I found it.

I really wanted to love this sunscreen, but I get freckles and burn when I wear it, so it’s obviously not providing adequate protection.

I purchased this because it was recommended by my dermatologist for my sensitive skin. Yes it’s heavy and leaves a whitish cast at first, but I don’t mind that. What I do mind is that a few days after I started using it I broke out with a red, itchy, scaly rash all over my neck and chest. It also seems to have aggravated my acne on my face. This is the only product I have changed in my regimen over this time period, I can’t think of anything else it could be. Goes to show that just because the label indicates it’s appropriate for sensitive skin doesn’t mean it’s appropriate for everyone’s sensitive skin. I’ve also had trouble with the bottle over-dispensing the lotion on occasion. Guess I’ll stick to using it on my legs and arms and find something else for my face and neckline.
