I’m beginning to assume all Olay items are created just for my skin. I have actually never had an issue regarding the performance of them. This set was no exemption. A wonderful, light-weight lotion that moisturized my skin without being the minor little bit greasy. The aroma was light as well as positive. I didn’t acquire the one with sun block, yet I’ve utilized various other Olay products with sunscreen and also I make sure this would have functioned just as well. My only grievance was the product packaging, because I had a difficult time recognizing if I was going out or otherwise. As well as when I did go out, there was no warning. It was simply gone, and then I had to hurry out to acquire another cream. Yet I would definitely get this again, as well as will stay loyal to Olay.

I’m starting to think all Olay products are created just for my skin. I’ve never had a complaint about the performance of them. This one was no exception. A wonderful, lightweight lotion that moisturized my skin without being the slight bit greasy. The scent was light and pleasant. I didn’t purchase the one with sunscreen, but I’ve used other Olay products with sunscreen and I’m sure this would have worked just as well. My only complaint was the packaging, because I had a hard time knowing if I was running out or not. And when I did run out, there was no warning. It was just gone, and then I had to rush out to buy another moisturizer. But I would absolutely buy this again, and will remain loyal to Olay.

My skin is very fair as I’m Irish, so I have to be careful about sun exposure all year round. I don’t want to be slapping on sunblock though, so my goal has been to find a good, reasonably priced moisturiser I can wear in the colder months. I’m usually not fond of pump action products as the pump often stops working three quarters of the way through the product so WE’LL SEE with this one as it’s pretty new.
All beauty products need to rethink packaging and avoid plastic as it’s catastrophic to marine life and our seas. Oil of Olay 7 has a plastic cover.
Right – Olay 7 itself. Two pumps covered my face and neck. I like the fact there isn’t a heavy or perfumed smell. It feels very creamy and goes on easily. My skin is normal to dry and afterwards it felt buttery soft but not oily. I use the Mac studio finish powder plus foundation five minutes later and it went on perfectly and stayed all day (hey two reviews in one!)
I really liked this moisturiser but will wait and see how the pump works when I get near to the bottom and come back again.

Amazing!
Only product that is easy on my sensitive skin and covers all my dry patches without being greasy!
Pump is perfect for easy application. I’ve noticed my skin get clearer and softer.

I have seen this for so long, but have always been reluctant to buy it. On my last grocery shopping trip, I saw this moisturizer in “trial size” on sale. Even though this smaller size was on sale, it was still expensive (~$6 for .5 oz); even still, I figured since I always wanted to try this but didn’t want to shell out the money for the large size, now’s my chance to see if I like it. And yes, I do like it, a lot. It is so hard for me to find a moisturizer that actually moisturizes my very dry skin. This has that added bonus of actually absorbing so it doesn’t leave a greasy film and make my makeup look heavy. I’ve been using this for about a week so far no breakouts or rashes. I’m very happy with this, and intended to buy the big bottle once I run out of this one.

Wow is this stuff awful, really thick when pumped out of the bottle, looks more like body lotion than a facial moisturizer, also piles on the surface of the skin, I remember having this moisturizer back in the 90s and it was wonderful, looks like they’ve re formulated it and now it’s ruined, I have such buyers remorse… steer clear of this one, buyer beware ????

I am 36 and still have acne prone skin. My skin is oily, but sensitive. I have spent years and $$$ on moisturizers trying to find one that doesn’t make me greasy or break out. I tried this moisturizer because it was on sale and for some reason my skin loves it. I have been using it for about a year now. It moisturizers, isn’t greasy and doesn’t break me out. I have no idea why this works so well, but seeing as my skin loves it I am just fine not to question it!

I wanted to love this product. I was one of those kids that grew up with Olay (when it was called Oil of Ulan) and I remember the smell and it brings me back like a nostalgic trip down memory lane. I wanted it back in my life again….however. This ruined my foundation every time I applied it underneath it. As in it ruined my makeup and it turned it patchy and blotchy and I didn’t like it.
As a moisturizer it didn’t do anything great. I wouldn’t call it a good night moisturiser (my skin was still dry after using this), and I certainly wouldn’t use it during the day…so I’m not sure where this product belongs in my life? I have a nearly full bottle so I guess that tells you something.
The price is good, and I love the pump bottle. However the product lets me down so much I could only give this one lippie. Sorry, don’t like Olay.
Won’t be buying again.

I only use the Day Moisturiser.
PROS:
– Helps to soothe my skin when it occassionally becomes sensitive
– Very hydrating and it has left my skin really soft
– It really helped to reduce the appearance of large pores
– The pump releases a decent amount of lotion for each application
CONS:
– It makes my face really shiny. Because of this I actually have to use the day moisturiser at night time.

I have extremely sensitive acne prone skin. A few weeks back I started breaking out on the right cheek area and the breakouts were those horrible cystic, scar leaving kind. I went back to Retin-A at night and needed a good moisturiser for the day. Retin-A makes my skin very dry and flaky. My mom has been using Olay for years and she swears by their products. After going through Neutrogena and Cetaphil (both make my acne worse), I decided to give Olay Total effects a chance. I have been using this moisturiser for two days. Wash my face with Avene Cleanance face wash and then apply this Olay moisturiser (SPF 15) and it leave my face greasy. The pores on my cheeks are much more visible too and I hate that greasy, shiny sheen on my face. I don’t know if I should keep using this product and give my skin a chance to get used to it but so far…not a fan.
