I got this in the organic version.
I am rather surprised that it keeps well in the clear bottle that supposedly has uv filters.
Another brand of jojoba oil (that costs more than double this) that I previously got turned rancid really quickly, but not this one.
This one has a nutty smell and for me it works well when applied to damp skin after a shower.
It works great in the colder and drier months.
I’ll repurchase this one.

Product: NOW Solutions Certified Organic Jojoba Oil
Seems like my sensitive skin just couldn’t handle this. Applied it first day and felt like skin is burning, kept using it for 2 days and my face looked like I’ve been under the sun for hours. Very very red / brown and unhealthy dark.
I don’t know whether its this product or Jojoba oil, as of now, I’ve decided to use this as a hair oil.

This is a nice brand of jojoba oil that I have been using off an on for years. Typically, I use this for my homemade aromatherapy treatments. But I also will use this as a deep scalp moisturizer or just massage it into my hands and nails. Every time I try to use a drop of jojoba oil on my face which has combination skin type, I break out.

My skin changed when I turned 47 last year. I never really had a problem with dryness, but my usual moisturizing was no longer working and my skin felt tight and dry all over. I know this is a hormonal issue. I don’t really have any breakouts, perhaps just a small pimple on the side of my chin the week before my period. I started by using a drop of jojoba oil in my moisturizer and it worked so well that I now use jojoba exclusively. My skin has never looked better in my entire life, and that is not an exaggeration. Morning and night I wash my face with CeraVe and barely pat it once with a towel. Then I put about 4-5 drops of jojoba oil in my palm and rub my hands together. I press and massage my hands into my face. The oil gets absorbed within a couple of minutes. My skin is plumper and extremely soft. If you are going through perimenopause and are suffering, I seriously recommend trying this.

After reading the nice reviews about this product, I said to myself that I have to try it! I did and it didn’t go well. I tried it from many brands. It is horrible.
As a cleanser- I put a few drops in my palms, I warmed up the oil, applied it on my face and neck, massaged, washed it off first with a cotton pad soaked in warm water and then with my facial wash, followed up by my toner. Gave me deep cysts and some pimples.
As a moisturiser- the first few times I put it on dry skin and I noticed that the next morning my skin was dry with some white patches so the next evening I put it on wet skin and in the morning my skin was looking better. But after just few days, this stuff gave me pimples and cysts. I thought I am having the purging days but after a few weeks of trying different brands, I just had to give up on it because it gave me some horrible, deep, painful cysts on my neck and on my face that lasted for weeks to go away and left scars!

I picked up this jojoba oil at my local GNC after I wrecked my face with AcneFree’s cleanser and electric face brush. After using the cleanser (which I’d used in the past, years ago, to keep my face clear) with the brush for about two months, I suddenly developed a very fine line/wrinkle on my forehead. Literally, one day it was not there, and the next it was. I study my face daily while putting on makeup as I’m a bit obsessed with aging and vain, so I know it appeared suddenly.
I decided to immediately stop using the AcneFree cleanser and brush and figured between the benzoyl peroxide and the beating the brush gave my skin that it was just too much for my skin to handle. I probably developed persistent dryness and the use of the brush wasn’t allowing my skin to repair itself.
I am done with harsh cleansers and treatments. I wanted a facial moisturizer that would really be good for my skin but that was all natural.
This oil/wax is awesome. I rub a few drops into my face at night for a minute or two and then use J&J Head to Toe and rub on top as a cleanser. After rinsing, I rub several more drops of the jojoba into barely damp skin.
My skin is looking great so far! The right side of my cheek is completely clear now. I used to have perfect skin, but after I had my third baby it sort of went crazy. I have clogged pores on my upper cheeks that just won’t go away, but the right side of my cheek is really looking better, and it’s only been a few days. The left side isn’t showing as much change, though it is improved. I liken this to the fact that I sleep on my left side, so there’s probably bacteria, etc on my pillow.
Overall, I love jojoba so far. It really moisturizes my skin, and the dryness and flaky look around my nose is gone. I hope that this continues to work for me.
My only complaint is the bottle. It is messy. Oil drips down the side and will get onto whatever surface you keep the bottle on.

I slather this stuff on right after I wash my body & face in the shower. I let it sit for a minute or two, wash it off and then I towel dry. Best stuff ever!! It makes my skin look alive, clear and moisiturized. Best routine for winter 🙂

In my ongoing search to find quality products that meet the needs of my finicky skin, I stumbled across this gem. What a difference it’s made in the look and feel of my poor face! I’ve never had perfect skin, but it wasn’t bad. Unfortunately about two months ago it took a turn for the worse. Menopause? Stress? Who knows? I’ll keep this review short by saying that Murad kits, doctor visits, and a lengthy list of high end and drugstore products did nothing to improve the situation. My skin tends toward oily and it made sense to me to use formulas for oily/combination skin and acne. My reward was an itchy, red face. Not the look I was aiming for. After reading several helpful articles on the wonders of jojoba oil on troubled skin, I bought a bottle of 100% pure jojoba oil ( 4oz for $9) and began using it as a makeup remover/cleanser. I noticed an immediate improvement in the texture of my skin and a huge decrease in oil production. Hallelujah! I’m sure that by drying my skin out so harshly I was only prompting it to pump out more oil. The jojoba oil ( actually a liquid wax) binds with sebum naturally and carries it away during cleansing, clearing pores without turning your skin into a desert. I’d been far too harsh on my skin and ended up creating additional problems rather than solving the original one. My normal routine is now jojoba oil as a makeup remover/cleanser followed by Clinque liquid soap in mild, and then Yes to Tomatoes daily balancing moisturizer (I also use Clinique’s exfoliating scrub 3x per week). My skin has never been happier!
