I’m very confused as to why only three other people have reviewed this, as this is the best moisturizer I’ve ever tried! Last month, I bought some Ponds dry skin cream, which was absolutely amazing, but it made me break out horribly. This is the only one that performs similar for me (minus the cystic acne!) It’s a bit thick in texture, but I can easily warm it up by moving some around in between my fingertips before applying to the face. It doesn’t take too long to absorb. It makes my skin so incredibly soft and my makeup looks perfect after using this product. I don’t even need to use primer much anymore (I was only using primer because I wanted to smooth my skin texture…turns out I needed to up my moisturizer game, not the primer). I was previously using Clinique’s Dramatically Different Moisturizer +, and while I really like that one, it simply was not providing enough hydration.
I’m not a fan of the packaging of this product. I hate having to dip my fingers in, but given the consistency, I can’t imagine it would be easy to squeeze it out of a tube. Usually I make sure my fingers are clean or just use a q-tip. They do provide you this little stick thing to scoop some product out, but I find I drop it a lot and have to re-clean it every time, so it ends up being somewhat of a moot point.
I paid almost $100 for this product, and honestly, would do it again, I love it that much! It also smells heavenly. Aside from the packaging and price, I have nothing negative to say about this moisturizer. Also, Chanel changed their skincare line a bit to where they now make their moisturizers for use during the day OR night, instead of having to buy a separate cream. Some may prefer to use something lighter during the day, but that would probably be better for someone with oily skin. Dry skinned girls will love this. Glad I didn’t end up splurging on La Mer after all!!

Well, we all know it certain parts of the U.S the cold weather has been relentless and our skin is suffering. This product has saved me !!! It is all that it says it is…hydration, protection and radiance. I use it in the evening along with the Hydro Beauty Micro Serum. Truly, it only took one time for me to feel the difference. In the morning, I still feel moisturized! I am 55 and have use several different brands throughout the years.Nothing compares to the beauty of Chanel!!!!

I have purchased this a couple of times already and I have been impressed. It is definitely not cheap and it doesn’t last me as long as I’d like…maybe a few months at most. I use it as a night moisturizer and it makes me skin feel soft and moisturized without causing any breakouts. I also love the scent. I’m still on the hunt for an HG moisturizer because I would like to think there’s something else out there that is comparable or better without being so expensive.

This creme is supposed to be richer than then original hydra beauty creme but its not. Which is good in a way, meaning it is not heavy etc. However i did return this when i discovered that it contained silica which in my opinion is deceiving and will make you think your skin is really soft and silky. So that was really disappointing. And for a brand like Chanel that is really bad in my opinion. And the creme is not cheap.The jar itself is the usual Chanel creme jar. Chanel should revamp their design regarding their skincare packaging. they look dated and for the price it would not hurt to make it look more luxurious. But my issue was the use of silica so no i do not recommend this at all.
