I bought this due to the word “Hydrating” but it is so drying!!!
I really wanted to deep cleanse my scalp as the Jason’s one is too soft on my hair and doesn’t deep cleanse my scalp. i bought this and even though it is said for “normal to dry hair”; it is DRYING….
I will use this once a week to deep cleanse my scalp and that’s about it.
Once I’m done using this big bottle of 32 oz, I will have to decide if I want to repurchase. I think it does deep cleansing well but also dries the hair too much.
PS: I am already clean from “poo” hair stuff since 2014 when I cleaned myself from silicone and all dirty hair products.

I just started using this shampoo today so will update in about a week.
Bought this online from the Alaffia company because i could not find it at Whole foods. I purchased this and the matching conditioner for $30 including s&H. I placed the order on monday and it arrived friday. The shampoo comes in an 8oz plastic bottle. It smells like lavender and the smell is very light and mild.
So far i have not experienced any irritation, it did a good job cleaning my hair, no residue or build up. My scalp is dry so i didnt expect it to cure that in one use but it is less dry i feel.

Alaffia,s webside should be better and list all the ingredients in their products.
I didnt realise when i purchased that this has lavender-i normally have problems with lavender-causes my eczema to flare so had i know i wouldnt have purchased but now that i have it i will use and decide if i will continue to use.
Update:My hair feels like straw after only using this for 3 days and it has dried out my scalp. I have decided not to continue using it-it is waaaaayyyyyy too drying.
