This was a huge disappointment for me. It’s not what I’d call a primer because it doesn’t “prime” my skin for anything. To me it’s just an SPF that I’m using in winter to protect my skin from the ever present rays of the sun and other free radicals. It’s also tinted a light beige, so if you don’t work it in properly, you’re left with streaky lines across your forehead or cheeks. There are far better primers and far better – and cheaper – SPF creams out there. I’m using it mostly on the hands for protection because I don’t like throwing things away, but I’d rather not put this on my face at all.

Don’t buy! It does not work as a primer at all, the worst makeup days i had were when i wore it. Makeup doest go on smooth, separates instantly. I tested it with 5 foundations including Milani conceal+perfect , Lancome teint idole ultra 24h, fit me maybelline, lumene cc cream and giorgio armani fusion makeup and it looked super patchy with every single one, i just wanted to wash my face by the time i got to work. Its super greasy as well.

I bought this online where there was NO indication that it is tinted. I somehow imagined it to be colourless like other primers. The result is that it is too light for me and I have to mix it with something tinted so I don’t look like a ghost. It also has a shiny cast which dissipates a little with time. Apart from that, it didn’t break me out.
I can’t speak for its SPF properties but I feel good having a bit of extra coverage. I wouldn’t use it on its own for that purpose though.
The packaging is plastic which makes it look a bit cheap for a luxury product.

It’s octinoxate, mexoryl SX, titanium dioxide UV base. This is SPF40, not the SPF 50 maestro prima. Both are new.
I got the colour beige, which is far too white for Bobbi brown 2.5, MAC NC25.
Will not repurchase cuz it leaves a ghost whitecast even it is beige in color. Have minor ability to cover pores. but it’s Armani prima day-long skin perfector is more useful in covering pores and keeping foundation longer lasting.
I will use a normal sunscreen.and the day long skin perfector.
