I got this during the 21 Days of Beauty sale for $7, so I figured, why not? It’s not bad. It does what any regular primer is supposed to do; it doesn’t do much else. It doesn’t really make my face look any more matte and my face still gets oily throughout the day. I’ll finish the bottle since I got it so cheap and it does its main job, but I don’t think I’d buy it again.

This hidden steal is a lot like Smashbox’s photo finish primer, and in my opinion, it outperforms Smashbox & those like it because of its thick texture which stays put. It’s a clear matte primer great for any skin, and minimizes pores & fine lines (and small scars) with buildable application over problem areas. Retail is $18, but Ulta always has some sale on their namesake products to make the value even better.
