I’ve had my eye on this product for a while as the reviews have been great and it has quite a steep price tag. A month ago, I finally took the plunge and picked up this primer. I had high hopes from looking at the vitamin enriched formulation to the packaging. The consistency has a thin oily touch, rather than reminding me of silicone it reminds me of a not-so-oily baby oil. The performance of the primer seem to hold up, nothing spectacular as I have extremely oily skin. I noticed after a few weeks, I started getting under the skin bumps and white heads. I didn’t realize it was from this. I decided to stop using it and my skin cleared up. I have acne prone skin that reacts to certain silicone based primers. Alas, I will be returning this item. The search continues.

I found that this Primer is VERY WORTH IT, although the price is quite the same with PoreProfessional by Benefit, but the quality is way so different. I have other face primer product such as Tarte Face Primer and Smashbox. Smashbox is a really good product, but due to the price and the quality is basically the same as The Balm Face Primer with cheaper and more affordable price.
I have a very sensitive skin type and also, Ii have other primer products too such as Tarte Face primer which actually do nothing to my skin, but this one has the same quality with Smashbox Face primer, it really moisturize your skin and protect your skin from the make up.
You can also wear the face primer for no make up face, because it makes your skin looks more Gorgeous!
It has same texture with Smashbox Face primer, perfect for oily skin/normal/sensitive/and even dry skin
I would recommend this product to everyone, reasonable price, good quality ( same as Smashbox), Perfect 🙂

LOOOVE this primer!!! I have really bad skin, acne prone, scared and oily…I’m currently using covergirl outlast 3 in 1 and this works wonders!!! It really makes my foundation stay put like 8+ hours. Almost no need to touch up, and this stuff is incredibly good keeping oil at bay, i look at most dewy, not oily and only after many hours of wearing makeup.
I thing the packaging is cute, you need the littlest amount for your whole face.
The price is great, by far the best primer I’ve used. Definitely rebuying!
