Update: Now that I’ve found the perfect sun protection lotion, I’ve stopped using this as it is not necessary. Although I still favour this primer as my best primer from all the others I have.
So I feel like this is my little secret but it’s so good that it needs to be shared! Surprisingly there are no reviews here on it but the actual Boots website have plenty top reviews about it. Although I still think this is a little secret gem. I’ve also restocked on two more whilst it’s on sale so I’m not without and be doomed if it discontinued. So . . . how to start describing this lovely product? To say it’s simply a primer is a complete understatement. This is THE primer! This will change everything of what you have experienced with a primer, this is what a primer should be and what you hope for and more. Ok, so I sound like a mad fanatic but I am truly not trying to over sell something nor do I work for them or anything like that. But I will list the pros in bullet points because I don’t know how not to get ahead of myself on describing this lovely product:
Pros:
-30ml product but a little goes a long way.
-Looks like a liquid but glides on like silk into a gorgeous powdery velvety feel. (You can’t see it being spread out but boy, you can feel it. It’s like a dream.
-You can reapply it on open pores without it caking before make-up. Has silicone content to fill in the pores to make foundation appear more flawless.
-Is only priced at £7 atm. RRP: £10.99
-Has anti-aging ingredients.
-My favourite use: applying it after sunscreen/spf moisturiser to get rid of the shine and sticky/greasy feeling yet still leaving a satin moisturised feeling afterwards.
-Allows me to apply a powder foundation on afterwards with ease without it sticking.
-Can be worn alone for a natural, matte/sheen look.
-Makes make-up stay longer – what primers are suppose to do anyway.
-Gives a good base so any type of foundation can work well on the surface.
-Feels like a mega high end product without the price tag nor the showy marketing.
So even if you don’t want to use this as a typical primer for your foundation and choose not to wear make-up, this will definitely convince you to wear sunscreen more often because this will mattify it without it being a make-up itself. Plus skin feels like silk. This works best applied on moisturised skin, ideally SPF because everybody should be wearing SPF.
Cons:
-None I can think of.
