This is my favorite powder foundation and I’ve tried many. One compact lasted me almost a year. The coverage is perfect, not too heavy, not too light. It lasts for most of the day and I have oily skin. The price is a bit high but because the compact lasts so long, it’s actually a bargain.

I use this to boost the coverage of a sheer liquid foundation and to touch up my makeup when a foundation is coming off in areas. It’s great for those tasks but it’s pricey. If you have the money and you’re looking for a high-quality powder, I would still definitely recommend the BB. It’s finely milled, has a nice colour selection and provides decent coverage.

It’s a good enough powder foundation. It has medium coverage and for me a nice finish but it’s nothing amazing and there are so much more powder foundations to try 🙂

I was looking for a lightweight foundation with medium coverage for my combination skin. The SA tried to understand my skincare and makeup routine and recommended this one for someone on the go like me. I’ve been using this everyday for the last 6 months and really like it. I use makeup sponge to apply all over my face with concealer at my eye area. It has a good coverage for light freckles and smooth pores without the cakey look. It’s long lasting and won’t require any touch up after 8 hours. The colour matches my skin tone so well. It’s perfect for everyday natural look.

I definitely recommend Bobbi Brown if you are struggling to find the right colour. The powder is easy applicable with the sponge and a brush, the latter if you want to have a more sheer finish. I would say the coverage is medium using the sponge and no other products, but I mainly use it in winter as a setting powder on my foundation — for which the product is also suited.

Love love this powder foundation. Great coverage, medium buildable, with a flawless smooth finish. My oily skin loves this foundation. I wear it on its own and it stays put for at least 8 hours when I’m at work. I don’t have time for touch ups during the day.

I am so disappointed by this product. Makes my pores enlarged, does not absorb oil and looks like layers on my face. No need to say it’s pricy for the job it does. And this is irrespective of how much product I use (more or less) or how I apply it (pad or brush). I had a mineral powder from NYX which is 1/3 the price and it was more effective. It’s not working for my skin.

I like this! It’s been so hard finding a replacement foundation for my ultimate beloved Dior Extreme Moist powder (before the Flawless version). Most are tight-feeling, ashy-looking with minimal coverage and lasting power. The newer Dior Extreme Control powder was exactly that. This one is just lovely.
Pros
-beautiful satin finish
-smoothes pores
-perfectly comfortable and weightless-feeling
-Porcelain is pale and neutral enough!!
-easy, portable case
-wears well
-controls oil without feeling tight
Cons
-wish it had a bit more coverage
-needs a touch-up mid-day to look immaculate
Overall, I really like this. While it may not technically cover a lot, it looks far better than cream and liquid full-coverage ones because my melasma ends up showing through eventually and looking uneven. This just looks smooth, even and does not settle into pores.

I have been on a powder foundation kick the last month or so, and my skin has never looked better, and I have never received so many compliments as I have lately…the last 2 months I have purchased this Bobbi Brown, Lancome and a few others. I really have been enjoying this foundation, I’m 47, oily/combo skin with no dark marks or acne, and this wears beautifully with high medium coverage, applied with my Ecotools buffing brush, a spray of rosewater melted it in beautifully, and lasted all day, with an oil blotter mid day. Its pricy, but a little goes a long way…I spent about $150+ in the last 2 months on 3 high end powder foundations, and a mineral one from Physicians Formula and have no regrets! Definitely recommend.

A very nice powder. I simply use the sponge that comes with it on prepped skin (moisturiser, sunscreen, concealer). It applies “dewy” unless one piles it on, which is unnecessary as this powder is full coverage – one application is plenty. More than a single application on an area will result in not-so-good results. One swipe and some mild buffing – perfect. This powder will last on my face a good 10 hours. The colour selection for me is Natural Tan (MAC NC35). No glitter effect, no cakey look, just polished and finished. A good office and formal look. I will rebuy. One huge con – photos with the flash on will result in a ghostly appearance which is startling as it’s never happened to me before when I have on a Bobbi Brown product.
