I bought this palette a few years ago and have gotten my money’s worth out of it. It comes with 30 eyeshadows in a variety of colors. There are neutrals purples, greens, olives, blues, and grays with a couple different color variations in each category. They are pigmented but there is fallout with some of the shades. There is also 5 lipglosses and 5 lipsticks. I do not use the tiny mascara, lip liner or eye liner that came with it. The pencils are hard and the mascara just looks like black water to me (sorry). I have only used the tiny brushes to apply the lip products. On the bottom tier, there are 4 blushes, a highlighter, matte powder and bronzer. I have used all of those and like them. They seem to blend fine. Overall, this is a great palette and I will use it up as best as I can.

It’s an ok palette I really like it though mostly of the eyeshadows are not really pigmented but they are shimmery which I like except the black matte one it is awesome and super pigmented! 🙂

I got this as a gift from a friend and overall, it is a good palette. Here are my general observations:
1) Packaging: clever packaging – considering they provide eyeshadows, blushes, bronzer, highlighters, lip products and some mini makeup tools, they have made the packaging very compact and portable for travel.
2) Eyeshadows: nice range of eyeshadows (although I believe this palette does come in various versions) but wouldn’t be much use to someone who wants to wear a lot of mattes as most of the shadows are shimmer.
3) Blushes: 4 pretty blush colours but what I notice in the one I have is that they are all different shades of pinks. It would be nice to have a coral or apricot in there in place of 2 of the pinks.
4) Highlighters: the finish is more like a face powder than a highlighter.
5) Bronzer: the bronzer is matte, which I like. However, the bronzer is bigger than the blushes and I would have liked more blush and less bronzer.
6) Lipstick: lovely range of colours ranging from red, pinks, nudes to browns. However, I find lipsticks in these makeup palettes useless as you cannot extract them from the palette and make them portable. Lipsticks are the 1 thing that needs to be refilled throughout the day. They could have made that section extractable somehow.
7) Makeup tools: decent sponge-tip applicators and a not so decent lip brush. The eyeliner didn’t glide on easily and the mascara didn’t make my lashes stay curled but rather weighed it down.
All in all, it is a great palette for those who are looking for a wide range of shimmer eyeshadows with some mattes and a choice of pink blushes in different shades. It’s convenient to take on trips but like most palettes, there were aspects that could have been improved. I clicked no in re-purchase question even though I really like the palette because I would generally want to explore different and new palettes after this.

I got this as a gift…. Firstly eyeshadows….. I like the neutrals as they thought of every colour i dnt like however that they are all soooo shimmery and there are colours i wud nvr think of putting on. Some eyeshadows are creamy and easy to work but they tend to melt into each other while others arent. Lipglosses have a couple of good colours but some are to sheer and sticky. Lipsticks are the worst u rlly have to dig in and they dry ur lips bad, mascara is clumpy but i use it for bottom lashes eyeliner is horrible fades out and has no colour lip liner is fine. The brushes and sponges aren’t good. The blush is too shimmery and hard to get with a brush, bronzer is ok translucent powder tooo glittery and pink!!!! It looks vulgar on the face, the highlighting powder is great though really adds dimension

I wish they had incorporated more neutral eyeshadows, I won’t ever be caught dead in the bright blue hues!! It’s a fun kit that let’s me experiment w colors like greens I wouldn’t normally buy & grey/charcoal together. Pretty colors for lip/blush…This is a really nice quality kit! This I agree w posts below would be great for a young lady just getting into makeup coz it has a lot of stuff esp for the price!! I do respectfully disagree that this isn’t good quality makeup or that it’s somehow inferior grade maybe? To other VS cosmetics items? I do appreciate good quality items & I adore this set!! I feel glam when I do my makeup w this kit, which is what was intended to be a bombshell! 🙂 unleash your inner bombshell!! You can make a lot of sexy makeup looks using this kit & it would be great for travel or gym/school, maybe a little too big to carry in a purse however for everyday or touch ups.

I wish they incorporated more matte tones The lipglosses are chunky and melt easily. I hate how they’re right next to the shadows, because shadows falls in them and WOOP ruined lipglosses. Not happy with packaging that much.the bronzer is a bit too light for me to use as contour, it matches close to my skin. Color pay off wasnt great, i found myself packing on shadows to get them to become noticeable.

My mom bought me this kit a few months ago, and I absolutely love it. Except the mascara is a rip-off. The bottle is soo tiny, and the mascara clumps up. The lipglosses could definatley be better, shade and quality wise but the eye shadows, blush, etc. are all amazing 🙂 I also love the look of the kit, its real cute. Buy it!

I receive this product as a gift. I really like the eyeshadows, it offers a big range of colors. I can’t see myself using most of them but the purple and neutral tones are perfect. It’s hard to get to the bottom compartment, so maneuvering the product is tricky. I do not like the eyeshadow brushes but it’s not a problem if you have others you use anyway. The lip colors are kind of goopy and feel sticky, it’s a shame because there’s some really nice colors in there. The eyeliner isn’t too bad but it’s really tiny. I did not like the mascara either, it’s very goopy and clumpy and hard to get on. You can’t really tell the difference between with it or without it. The blushes are good too and a nice size. I won’t buy it because of the high price tag but I do like the eyeshadows and blushes.

I bought this as a little treat for myself during the semi-annual sale for $14.99. I’m happy with my purchase but I don’t think I’ll buy another makeup kit from VS again.
The best thing about this kit are the eyeshadows and the blushes. The color payoff is good although they do fade throughout the day (even with UD primer). I like the color selection and the blushes look good on fair skin. The mascara is also very good (I love VS mascaras) but the tube is so tiny…can’t imagine it lasting me a long time.
The lipglosses are your typical glosses that you’d expect in a kid’s makeup set. They feel heavy, don’t last long, and are overall unimpressive.
The powders and bronzer are okay…although they do feel cheap. Kind of reminds my of NYC makeup. Again, look good on my fair skin but I can’t imagine it working for someone with darker skin tones.
I like the lipliner…it’s a nude color and looks quite nice. But alas, it doesn’t last long…neither does the eyeliner.
Overall, this was a fun one-time buy. But I think I’ll stick to E.L.F. eyeshadow kits (better color payoff, last longer, only fraction of the cost) and the brands that I trust. This make-up kit would be a good gift for a younger girl but not a woman who likes quality make-up. And honestly, even at 50% off…it was still a bit pricey considering the fact that the quality isn’t as good as E.L.F. and is comparable to cheap make-up kits you find at sale bins.

Loved it! i was so surprised at the quality of everything included. all of the eyeshadows have good payoff, minor fallout the only complaints are.
a. lack of names for each color. i can see myself wanting to replace individual shades but alas no luck.
b. the brushes (but thats not a huge deal, if you have others you use anyway.)
c. the packaging has a sliding lid which sometimes opens on its own, so keep the box and travel with it that way. plus the box is usually pretty cute anyway. :L
But i would def. recommend it, and i would def. buy another. (btw mine is the box with candice s. on the box, in case the quality changes from batch to batch.)
