   My skin has become more sensitive over the past few years, reacting to mineral oil and sometimes other oils. So it’s hard to find a moisturizer that truly hydrates without irritating. I’ve been using this product for three weeks now and am thrilled. My skin is hydrated and soft and with no blotchy spots at all! It’s a little pricey but since you only need a pea sized amount for each usage, it’s well worth it to me.

   Weird consistency, gummy and sticky. Average results. For this price tag I would expect more impressive results. Definitely, it did not add any glow to my face. It did not helped with my discoloration either. At all.

   Love this! The texture is perfect, soaking right in, leaving plump, soft, moisturized skin. I have combination skin that is breakout prone, sensitive and easily dehydrated, and this is perfect for it. HG material!

   I bought my pot on Dermstore.com. If you add it to your favorites, you get 10% off, but it is still a very expensive cream. Having said that, I would buy this again. I had a spider bite scar that had been hanging on for months. After using this for a few weeks, it is barely visible. So that is impressive. I do think that it does help the skin to repair. It is excellent for combination skin, as it helps with both dry skin patches and breakouts. It is also very hydrating without any greasiness. The texture, as someone else, is sort of gummy and hard to spread. So I tend to add a little oil to it in the mornings to get some slip to apply makeup. Otherwise, applying foundation drags at the skin. This reminds me of a natural Creme de la mer. Although it is more hydrating than CDLM. Update: After buying 6+ pots of this. They changed the formula. It is now a much lighter, easier to spread consistency, that has a quite strong scent of chamomile. It is still a regular part of my daily skincare routine. However, I still feel that the price is high for what it is. Which is a soothing, hydrating, repairing moisturizer for sensitive combo skin. What it is not, is high tech or anti-aging.

   I’m on my fourth pot. I wish it wasn’t so expensive – but for my skin, this stuff’s perfect.

   I’m in my late 30s, and I have combination skin that can be prone to blackheads; I deal with those using mud masks, but they can make my skin dry and tight. I am part-Chinese, and in common with a lot of people of Asian ethnicity, I have skin that produces quite a lot of oil, but is also dry because that oil does not get absorbed; it’s a difficult mixture to find good products for in the west.

   The reason I keep buying this *horribly* expensive (£95 for 54g in the UK) cream is that it’s the only thing I’ve ever tried (and I have tried DOZENS) which penetrates my skin so well, plumps and smooths it, and does so without leaving any greasy or oily sensation. My skin just soaks this stuff up like a sponge; it’s the only face cream that’s ever worked like that for me. It’s very soothing (and smells lovely) too. I use it as day and night cream year-round, with the addition of a facial oil in colder months. My skin is now less oily and much less sensitive (I used to have awful problems with redness around the nose and chin which have gone now). I no longer have little bumps on my cheeks, and my face feels much more comfortable. And my first wrinkles are much reduced too, which is wonderful.

   I have to do a lot of air travel for work, and this moisturiser is very, very good at protecting my face from the dry atmosphere of an aeroplane.

   The packaging is surprisingly home-made-looking for something this price.

   I love the idea that Tammy Fender’s products are natural and largely organic. This cream is thick and tacky. I don’t wear make up but if I did this might be annoying as a base. It is, however, very very soothing (I have combo skin with rosacea) and I think (just maybe) that this has helped a bit with my rosacea. It costs a fair bit but I’m going to keep using it. (PS I’ve tried La Mer, Chanel, etc… I find this more moisturizing).

   This is one of the weirdest moisturizers I’ve ever tried. It’s highly effective, softening dehydration deep down without any greasiness, lasting all day. The texture—gummy and tacky—is beyond bizarre. Debris of all kinds, from your hair to dust in the air, get stuck to your skin. It does absorb eventually, but so slowly it is impossible for daytime. Think of it as a sleeping pack. It has marshmallow-y scent, not faint but not too strong either, tempered by some chamomile.

   The Tammy Fender Intensive Repair Balm purports to: “repair tissue damage and assist in healing, aids in reducing tissue pain, redness of the skin, and skin discoloration, strengthen weakened capillaries and fade undereye circles, stimulate new cell growth, increase elasticity, and tighten the connective tissue, simultaneously serving as a moisture barrier”. Since I have thin, easily irritated skin, it’s hard to imagine copy with stronger appeal, but it does not deliver on any of its promises save the moisture barrier. At best, it lessens discomfort slightly when my skin feels raw, but any rich moisturizer does. The expense ($130) only adds insult to injury. Though a good moisturizer, it is otherwise uncomfortable to use, overinflated in its claims, and extremely expensive.

   INGREDIENTS aqueous extracts of chamomile, green tea, marshmallow, peppermint, skullcap; shea butter; glyceryl polyacrylate and glycerin, algae extract, bladderwrack extract, kelp extract, sunflower seed oil, rosehip oil, jojoba oil, aloe butter, wheat germ oil, calendula extract, alkypoly glucoside and polyglycery l2, carrageenan, methyl gluceth-20, oleoresin, olive oil, essential oils of lavender and chamomile, dehydroacetic acid (and) benzyl alcohol, collodial silver.
