Plump, hydrated skin. No breakouts, no flareups… nothing bad to say about the product itself.
I agree with other reviews that this a thicker oil – it takes longer to dry and I think I use more of it because a little doesn’t go a long way.
But for someone like me that tends to have very dry skin, this oil thickness is actually a plus, especially in the winter. I remember feeling like my face were going to crack this time last year and this year I just feet comfurtable.

OMG!!! Please dear lord, i hope clinique never stops making this!
my skin: acne prone,sensitive,combination-dry skin.
i use retin-a and have tried SO many moisturizers (sisley,la mer, paulas choice, skinmedica, vichy,la roche posay, guerlain,la prairie, cerave, revive, natura bisse and more!)
no moisturizer that i have ever tried truly helped with dryness and most made my skin irritated and red and breakout!
THIS IS A MAGICAL PRODUCT!!!!
it has made my skin smooth!,radiant!,and plump!..
100% BALANCED!!!
since using this i have ZERO dryness or dry patchess.
beautiful amazing bouncy skin!
and it did not cause even one breakout!
2-3 drops in my serum or a few drops over my retin-a and thats all.

This is my HG oil and, the first step after I wash my face morning and night. I have such dry, sensitive skin with a little red by my cheek area. On average I use 4-5 drops and massage it in. This calms my redness BIG TIME, softens my skin and gives it a dewy glow. Between this and my moisturizer- my makeup application looks flawless. Even when I don’t wear makeup this helps my skin to look brighter. No break outs! It is a thicker oil but that’s actually what I love about it because thin oils seems to seep right into my dry skin without hydrating it. With this I can feel the difference instantly. I’ve repurchased this a few times already and will continue too.

This stuff is a mess.
It has a dropper, but the dropper doesn’t work properly and it plops off the end before I can get it to my face. No, it doesn’t have fragrance, but it does smell exactly like corn oil, honestly, like I’m spreading Wesson on my face. And speaking of spreading it, it’s weirdly resistant to being applied. Even warming it in my hand doesn’t help it move around and I have to push a lot harder on my face than I’d like in order to move it around. It’s very greasy; the Trader Joe’s jojoba oil is greasy but only for a little bit and then it melts in it the skin. This just sits. I really dislike it, but it was a Christmas present (that I asked for! based on the rave reviews here!) and I don’t want to waste my sister’s money.
Two lipsticks for the fact that I can use it to soften my makeup and then remove it.

Been using this for 5 months now and I love it! I don’t use it everyday but I use it like 2-3 times a week especially if I am using PC’s Clinical 1% retinol treatment. It calms my red face after I put the PC product. It makes my skin more plump and fresh. The next morning after I use it, I don’t get the flaky patches that I usually get with PC’s Clinical 1% retinol treatment. It contains alot of beneficial ingredients your skin deserve. I am so happy I found this product! It also lasts a long time so you can save money to buy for your next bottle. It’s my first bottle but it’s still on its 1/4. The only drawback I see is that it is in a transparent bottle which can ‘degrade’ the antioxidant properties of its ingredients. To remedy this, I rolled a masking tape on the bottle when I brought it home from the Clinique store. I highly recommend this product to people looking for a good facial oil! This is truly worth a try! 🙂

Love this so much! It doesn’t cause any problem to my sensitive roseasa skin, which is amazing!! I like to use this oil for facial massage. Highly recommend this.

This oil sinks into my skin very quickly so I have to use more than a few drops to fully spread and massage. I can see myself going through a bottle really fast and this is disturbing given the $80 AUD I paid. It is a beautiful product, feels good, although you have to keep it away from light so it doesn’t degrade. I would continue to make this my oil of choice if I could afford to. The price is why I won’t buy again; however if cost is no issue, this has a lot going for it – fragrance free, readily absorbed, packed full of great ingredients.

In my quest for a great facial oil, this one is one of the leaders for me. My biggest problem with facial oils is fragrance, which I find too overpowering and in some cases irritating to my sensitive skin. The Clinique Smart Oil is fragrance free and feels decent. However, it is slightly too oily for me to use as a daytime product, which is fine by me as I like to use facial oils at nighttime. I’m not sure this oil is doing anything special or smart though as it doesn’t feel any different than any other oil. I also have an issue with the clear, see through packaging and would prefer the oil be protected from light.

Really nice face oil, I used it during this winter for my dehydrated combination skin and it is really great in relieving me from my itchy tight skin feeling.
It takes sometime to sink in but I use around 4-5 drops for my face.
The dropper is nice and a hygienic way to get the oil. The packaging could be improved by making the bottle opaque so the ingredients won’t break down.

Excellent oil for the price tag. It is light and odorless, sinks in immediately and provides moisturised and glowy face. Bottle is transparent so it’s better to store it in its box and protect it from sunlight. I have tried numerous face oils (MD Colbert, all Caudalie oils, Estée Lauder, Clarins, Oskia, Jason, dr. Alkaitis, Ren, Sisley) this one is probably the best with visible results in terms of nourishing and moisturising and a flawless application ( zero greasiness or shine ).
