   Lancôme makes very poor skincare nowadays. Too much fragrance, too much silicone and beneficial ingredients are used in such small quantities end of list… just a joke.

   It’s an average moisturizer at best. My wallet has learned the hard way that sometimes more expensive doesn’t necessarily equate to better. You also don’t get much product. I finished using this in less than a month. Too pricey in general.

   The scent is nice but strong to my nose. It does dissipate quickly too. I like the texture and how soft it makes my skin feel. I don’t notice too much difference in my neck area but on my chest it softens some of the fine lines I’m getting from years of sun exposure. It also doesn’t break me out. Price is steep, but overall I enjoy using this. The added sunscreen is a nice perk.

   I’m on my second jar of this and I do like it. My face looks rested and clearer while using it. The cream is not heavy at all and the fragrance is faint and pleasant, not overpowering. I love that it has sunscreen protection and it’s been the perfect winter moisturizer for keeping dry flaky skin away. I cannot attest to any miraculous anti-aging benefits, but just a good face cream for winter with broad-spectrum sun protection. I’m trying the Lancome Absolue Precious Cells day cream next.

   If you like the Renergie day cream that comes in the pot you might want to check out this that comes in the pump. It’s pretty expensive but has a softer scent and is really nice on the skin. Sinks in well and hydrates n/d and combo skin. Oily skin would probably not like this much but it is a good winter moisturizer. The scent dissipates quickly and it works well under makeup. It’s an all chemical sunscreen so not for those with really sensitive skin. Bottle is glass so not the best for travel. I haven’t used it long enough to know about how it works long term on dark spots and wrinkles.
