This yellow facial moisturizer is sufficiently moisturizing for me to use as a day cream on my dry skin. As with all Re-Nutriv products, this is expensive (over US$200). Although I like it, I don’t feel I can justify the expense when the Clarins, Lancome, and Clinique day creams I use are just as effective for less than half the price.

This is a really nice thick creamy moisturizer that goes on comfortably, smoothing over and into the skin very well. It is scented, though lightly, in the classic Estée Lauder scent. The thick creme is lightly yellow in tone, but does not leave any visible colour on the skin. It is winter now and I live in a super dry environment, and this is really helping with the super dry flaky patches on my skin. I also do not think it is breaking me out (I am constantly breaking out in blemishes). I have been applying at daytime and nighttime overtop my Darphin Niaouli facial oil (sometimes with my Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair II) between the two – usually just at nighttime. My skin is better in the morning and less dry by the end of the day. I really like this creme a lot. Essentially, it sinks into the skin rapidly and nicely, and feels very comfortable on, and definitely hydrates well, without feeling oily.
