I have oily, acne prone skin and whenever I put on make up, it would make my make up look very textured. I’m a big fan of their Vitamin C hence, I thought of giving this a try. First thing first, this is a very expensive day cream. The ingredients used are excellent, it uses quite a number of ferment and has Squalene which I love as well as many actives like antioxidants, niacinamide and probiotics. When I first tried it on, it felt like a hydrating cream – which happens to be very good for acne-prone skin but it was not moisturizing enough for me. It did not sting my face and it layered well with my Mamonde Ceramide Light Cream ( for an extra boost of moisture) and my spf. Using it for a full 2 months, I have seen improvements in my texture, my oiliness has gone down as well and mopst importantly it doesn’t irritate or cause me to break out even more. Lastly, yes the price is very expensive for a moisturizer however for a 50ml tube and with all the good ingredients mixed in – use it wisely and I feel that the tube can last a while. I’m on Month 2 and the tube still feels full!
Will defo make a repurchase because there’s plenty of time to save up hehe

I wanted to love the Allies of Skin Molecular Multi-Nutrient Day Cream. The Serum-Gel texture is well packaged in a squeeze tube bottle, which I love. The issue I ran into is that the serum just isn’t hydrating enough for my dry skin. When I use this I still needed to use it with my regular moisturizer. Then the issue with using the Multi Nutrient Day Cream with my other skin care products is that once I added this to my morning routine it ended up causing everything else to pill since this does not play very well with many other products. The Molecular Multi Nutrient Day Cream is loaded with beneficial ingredients and is also fragrance free. However, for the steep price point I expected a little more. I will say that those with oily skin might enjoy better results since this isn’t a “cream” that is focused on hydrating or moisturizing skin, it’s more focused on antioxidants. Well for starters, this is not a cream so don’t make your purchasing decision by the (misleading) name. It’s a serum of several actives (antioxidants, niacinamide, probiotics) in a moisturizing (hyaluronic acid) base, but it doesn’t offer nearly enough moisture for my superdry aging skin, particularly during these bone-dry winter months. I have heard great things about Allies of Skin for skin that loves ferment (SK-II is one of my favorites) so I wanted to check it out for myself. I would consider this a high-end product due to its high quality ingredients, hygienic packaging design and marginally insane price tag for not much product. I love the fact that this is a heavy hitter – I have dry, aging, sensitive, rosacean, acne-prone aging skin so I appreciate the fact that this truly did seem to make my skin look more even and toned. While this product performs well (from what I can tell), it’s ultimately disappointing for me because it doesn’t play well with any of my favorite moisturizers that I need to apply over it. (See above comment about this actually being a serum and not a cream.) They all ball up and I spend several minutes using a dry muslin washcloth to get rid of all the pilling. That feels like a waste of my moisturizer and whatever it’s taking with it. So I won’t be going back for more of this, but I would definitely recommend it if you don’t have dry skin and $ to spare.
