This stuff is AMAZING. I don’t know why the internet isn’t all over it! I only found about it because of a good old fashioned word of mouth recommendation. It works, of course — I’m a bike commuter in Los Angeles and my face and neck do not get a single shade darker all summer because I use this every single day, for about 3 years now. I’m an extremely pale person, and I can’t remember the last time I got any level of sunburn on my face. I never reapply unless I’m having an outdoor intensive kind of day.
It has a slight white cast on initial application, which on me fades very quickly (again, very pale). Like any mineral sunscreen, this might not work well on those with darker skin tones. It has a very dewy finish, which I personally love. It’s also moisturizing enough on its own for me in the summer, but I need an extra layer of moisturizer underneath in the fall/winter. I mix one pump with about 8 drops of Glossier’s Skin Tint for my everyday makeup.
On a normal day I use three pumps altogether for face, neck, and upper chest area. Sometimes I apply it to my arms or elsewhere, but I often use a regular chemical sunscreen for full body application. One bottle lasts me 8-10 months and costs around $30.

This is the only sunscreen on earth, that doesn’t break me out. I’m on my third bottle. Time to time, I try other sunscreens for a week, but everytime I sadly have to return back to Sayer with few new spots on my face.
It doesn’t leave a white cast, soaks in fast, is easy to spread.. It’s just perfect.
My only doubt is, I can’t be sure if it provides enough protection. I never tested it that way. I would like to see it’s coverage under those UV cameras. I’m used to sunscreens that leave a white cast and don’t understand how this light moisturizer should protect my skin enough?

I am using this moisturizer for a year now. It is absolutely not greasy and sinks well into the skin. I never had a better moisturizer 🙂

I have been using this product for about a month and a half, and so far I love it. It feels very lightweight, works great under makeup, and has a nice light lemon scent. It hasn’t broken me out, and I don’t feel oily at all when I wear this. Very good product! I also love the hygienic packaging with a pump. I have been searching and trying all kinds of sunscreens and moisturizers with SPF for my face, most leave a white cast, feel greasy or oily, or make my skin itch. I also break out easily from certain chemical sunscreens. This one is by far the best.

This is BY FAR the BEST facial sunscreen I’ve ever used. I will be extremely unhappy if they ever discontinue this! It’s light, it absorbs quickly and easily, provides good coverage so I don’t feel like I’m missing any spots, and doesn’t leave a white cast. I’ve even used it after peels with zero stinging or irritation. Any reviewers who say this leaves them oily are crazy. Have you tried any other facial sunscreens? They’re usually thick and greasy, making it impossible to wear makeup on top, or running into your eyes and stinging like hell. Even the “good” ones are difficult to wear. I’ve tried a couple of the Eminence sunscreens before (normally I love their line) and at double the cost, it doesn’t even compare to the Kimberly Sayer.
In the summer this works as my only daytime moisturizer, and in the winter I use another moisturizer on top (although I believe KS offers a cream version of this as well for colder, drier seasons).
Also, mine is actually an SPF 30… Not sure if they changed the formula since this was first reviewed (?) but thought I’d mention it..

I was looking for a lighter weight sunscreen moisturizer for summer. During winter I was very happy with Peter Thomas Roth max all day SPF 30. But it’s too moisturizing for summer.
This is perfect. It sinks in almost instantly and doesn’t leave any residue, my makeup looks great all day long. It has a subtle lemon smell to it, but it doesn’t seem to bother my skin one bit.
You get a huge 120ml bottle as well and I pay the same price for a 30ml bottle of the PTR sunscreen. I will use this all summer, I’m very happy with this product.

I just recently ran out of this product after using it every day for the past 9 months. It’s my current favourite moisturizer with SPF. I love that it is lightweight compared to other facial sunscreens, and it also doesn’t break me out. The lemon smell was strong at first but I got used to it after a while. The price may seem high (around $32) but considering you get 120 mL, the unit cost is affordable especially compared to other natural sunscreens.
The one thing I don’t love is the packaging; it is too tall and “skinny” so it easily topples over, plus it makes it hard to fit on my tiered countertop organizer. Also, don’t store it near the sink because somehow water got into my bottle (although the product itself was protected due to the vaccuum design of the pump, so it didn’t contaminate). It’s just gross to have a small pool of water in the bottom of the bottle.

I have dry skin and use this under my oil based antioxidant serum. It is lightweight, so it can be reapplied several times daily. It is one of the few organic spfs that do not feel greasy and thick. I would love though if it would contain some good water binders, such as hylauronic acid. I would also prefer this without lemon oil as it can be irritating and cause photosensitivity (pigmentation).

I’ve been using this moisturiser for little over a month now, but it’s really breaking me out. Normally I would have a pimple every now and then, but my skin has never been this bad! Disappointing, because I hoped I had finally found a good moisturiser with high spf. I’m going back to the one I used before (the OY moisturiser with spf 15), to calm my skin down a bit.

This product always gets really good reviews and I just don’t get it. I guess we’re all different. I found that it broke my skin out (blackheads and cysts) and i didn’t like how it felt on my skin. My boyfriend commented that I hadn’t rubbed my face cream in well enough (note: I have used mineral sunscreens in the past so its not as if i don’t understand that you have to rub thm in properly and wait a bit etc.)
