I really like this little brush for travel, because of its shape and size it fits perfectly in the side pocket of my tiny cosmetics bag. And it applies the ambient powders really beautifully. The oval brush head is very dense with soft hair and it washes well without shedding. I would repurchase if I had to replace it.

I bought this brush with the Ambient powders when it was first released a few years ago and if I am honest, the brush just sat there untouched for a long, long time. The brush is great for its intended purpose; to apply the Ambient powders but I own other brushes that do a better job so I hardly reached for this.
Recently, I started getting in to the whole baking under the eye trend and went looking through my stash to find a brush to sweep away the excess powder. This brush is perfect for this! The shape is great and bristles are delicate enough for the under eye area.
The brush itself is dense and very soft. It applies powders beautifully as it is so soft that it won’t disturb your base makeup.
It is an expensive brush and it is lovely, but you definitely don’t need it. There are other brushes out there that are just as soft and functional so I won’t repurchase if I were to lose it.

I got this little brush as a treat to myself to use with the Ambient blushers I have and… I absolutely love it 🙂
Is it the most unique brush in the world? Is it a must have? Probably not to be honest, but it’s been a perfect blush brush for me and all at once it is beautifully shaped, dense, soft, fluffy, and I love the little pouch it comes in. It doesn’t shed, and it washes well – although as another reviewer pointed out, it does take a little while to dry because of its density.
Would I buy again? If I managed to wreck the one I have, yes, I would repurchase.

Ugh…I can’t decide on this one. I bought it just because I bought so many hourglass products and i thought why not it looks cute..do you need it? absolutely not! It feels good and it’s soft and cute and all that, but the Elf complexion brush is almost an exact dupe for me, as is the blush brush by Elf –and of course, higher end brushes from sigma and mac etc.
Get it if you want to splurge and have a cute little collection but otherwise..add another 20$ to the bill and get another powder 🙂

I love this brush. It’s very luxe feel, the bristles are teddy bear soft and dense. I actually got it with my ambient highlighter. I dropped the highlighter but kept the brush. Perfect for a nice and even smooth application. The little pouch it comes with is also cool.

This is a lovely brush–incredibly soft and luxurious-feeling on the skin. It’s beautifully made of high-quality materials and doesn’t shed, and it is perfect for applying the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder). The width and shape, however, make it suitable only for lightly applying products like powder to the entire face (at least my small face). However, I think it could also be used to apply highlighter or powder foundation, particularly if you want a light application. It’s a great brush but, for me, it’s a one-trick pony, and I like my brushes to be more versatile. I will keep and enjoy it, but would not repurchase.
