I tried both the moisturizing and oil free versions of this and they were both as bad as each other.
Let me break this down, much like it did on my face:
PROS
None – at a push, I would say it has a decent colour selection covering all undertones but for me, the neutral shades lean too pink against my straight up BEIGE skin
CONS
Contains acnegenic ingredients! Be cautious if you are sensitive – I broke out after one use
Packaging is awful – the formula pours out of the squeeze tube even when you don’t apply pressure – messy AF!
No SPF
Thick, clogging feeling and consistency
Light coverage for a supposedly ‘full’ foundation – deceiving!
Expensive as hell – absolutely not worth it. I have drugstore foundations that out perform this.
Longevity is very poor – I was unbelievably patchy at the end of the day. I couldn’t wait to remove this.
Bizarre smell – not scented, just unpleasant
Overall, this is pretty rancid.

i love this foundation. A little goes a long way. It makes my skin look flawless and covers everything!!! talk about full coverage. It does not make me look cakey and does not separate through out the day. It is a thick consistency and can feel heavy on the skin. It gives me a dewy look thats perfect since i have super dry skin. I do hate the smell but it does not linger once applied. Bamboo beige is my perfect shade.I use it only on special occasions because this thing is super expensive !!!!!

If you have sensitive, dry skin this is a real find. Like most LM foundations, this is very concentrated so only a small amount is needed. You’ll get excellent coverage that looks completely natural. I’m NC15 and use Ivory. The color is excellent. I was Warm Ivory in the old LM Moisturizing Foundation. I shake this and then use the LM sponge to apply it. Sometimes I wet the sponge a bit for sheerer application, but mostly I apply with a dry LM sponge. It’s long wearing on me even in humid, hot weather. Kudos to Laura Mercier for the gentle, non-sensitizing formula too.

I’m surprised to see water coming out from the tube, but it said to shake well first.
I doubt it but still try it, after 5hour wear, my skin looks so flawless, it oxidized to become my skin but georgoeus skin. The color doesn’t change.
Probably not the best for oily skin because you probably have to blot a lot.
10 Star for this foundation. I love it.
This is medium coverage , if u looking for full coverage, you probably don’t like this.

Look, if you have good skin, move on from this review. If you have even slightly compromised / sensitive skin, read on.
I have combination skin, and I’m sensitive to acne break outs on my cheeks. I don’t have cystic acne, but I get acne on a level that is still upsetting. My pores clog easily and so, basically, they ruin my life.
This foundation has shimmer particles in it. IT HAS GLITTER!!! I suspect it sensitised my skin and made me break out, because even after a good foam cleanse it doesn’t completely come off. The glitter particles I mean. You have to use an oil cleanser and then a foam cleanser. And then a toner for good measure. I know because I tested on the back of my hand, after I realised that this effing foundation has f**ing glitter particles!!!!
That aside, I had been using the foundation pretty consistently for two weeks and more. The finish is great and I know that if you even had remotely good skin, you would absolutely look glowing and fabulous. I’m so jealous! But consistent use would make your skin sensitive and then you might get a break out or two. Then all of a sudden you join the ranks of those who carry the motherf*ing burden of having acne. It’s how the story goes, a lot of the time.
Stay away from this foundation. Good skin or otherwise. All the lucky people with good skin that I shooed off, come back. Don’t use it. There are soooo many better options. I’ve just spent hundreds of dollars on Omnilux and facial treatments just to undo the damage this fkn foundation has done, because I’m impatient and I’m upset about my skin right now.

This foundation is amazing for my dry skin. I mix it with hyaluronic acid and glycerin, it has an amazing glow. The sand beige is a perfect color for me, I pair it with plum radiance blush. I will never stray from this as long as it continues to perform.

A lovely everyday foundation which is buildable and has a nice glow to it. It’s not as long lasting as my doublewear light but lasts a bit longer than my Nars sheer glow. I prefer heavier coverage for nights out. A little goes a very long way. I use a light loose powder to set. I recommend a good primer.
It didn’t enlarge my pours and didn’t slip off my oily nose for 6+ hours. It didn’t settle in to fine lines. Minor touch up but no oxidisation which is good.

Profile: NC15-20 skin, dry, sensitive. I have this in Ivory which works for the warmer weather as it’s around NC 20 in depth, but it would not work for me in the winter. The undertone is perfect for me as it’s more of a cool yellow.
This is a beautiful foundation and indeed, photographs so flawlessly. This foundation would be perfect for important events, prom, clubs, etc. The effects of both foundations are different, but I find that the effect that this foundation has on camera is much more dazzling than the MUFE Ultra HD. The MUFE Ultra HD just looks more natural, even though this foundation is natural-looking as well. Compared to the MUFE Ultra HD, this has more of a candlelit, lit-from-within kind of glow and is more demi-matte on the skin whilst the MUFE Ultra HD just looks like healthy, moisturized natural skin on me. So both are beautiful, but just depends what you’re going for. For that reason, I prefer to use this with a brush to give my skin more of a polished, porcelain appearance. My favourite with this particular foundation is the EcoTools Buffer, and blends in so effortlessly. It gives pretty opaque coverage, and I would say it’s on the full side of medium.
This foundation is however, a bit tricky to work with but it doesn’t mean that it is necessarily hard to work with per say; just not something to slap on effortlessly and head out the door without thinking. I think that priming is absolutely necessary, especially if you are prone to dry skin flakes and texture like me. Since this foundation is demi-matte, it can emphasize patches. It works absolutely flawlessly with the MUFE Hydrating Primer. Still, I find that this does settle into fine lines and would not be suitable for mature skin.
This stuff is pretty long wearing, and I do find myself starting to get shiny around the 8 hour mark. This foundation is only slightly moisturizing but it will not do favours for truly parched skin. It is a silicone-based foundation emulsified with oil, so you have to be careful and make sure to shake this thoroughly, or else you end up with too much oil and end up looking really shiny from the get-go.

I am a foundation hoarder, and this foundation makes it into my Top 5 (my other faves being Guerlain Lingerie de Peau, Chantecaille Just Skin TM, YSL Touche Eclat (reformulated version), and Sisley’s Phyto-Teinte Eclat). As you can tell from that list, I generally prefer light coverage and often find fuller-coverage products to merely emphasize the effects of aging on my 36 year old skin. No thank you!
But this. This allows me to have a “made up” look without sucking the life out of my combo-dry skin. It doesn’t emphasize my pores, it floats fairly well over fine lines, it lasts all day on my skin without breaking up around my nose/mouth/chin, manages to be lightly hydrating, doesn’t cause breakouts or irritation, and the shade Rose Ivory matches my complexion really, really well. I usually apply with a damp BB sponge for a rather sheer application, and then build up where necessary–and it layers beautifully. In fact, I find it capable of providing coverage that ranges from sheer all the way to full, depending on how you apply it, which makes it a go-to for me for travel. Another nice feature is that, at $48, it’s pretty reasonably priced for a high-end foundation.
All in all, if you prefer medium-full coverage but struggle with such products emphasizing imperfections that you’d rather, ahem, not emphasize, then try this. I’m a foundation ‘ho, so I will always be trialing other products, but this will always be in my rotation!
