Another TJMaxx find for $7.99. I am Light to Medium skin tone with definite cool undertones. I purchased the shade Fair. (These seem to run a shade darker than normal, as I usually buy Light-Medium shades). I have definite cool undertones yet this foundation shade is not Pink in the least yet it looks like a perfect match on my skin tone as it’s very forgiving yet gives good coverage. I will pick up the Light shade if I find it at TJMaxx for Summertime as it looks more like what most brands market as a Medium skin tone shade. At $8 a bottle, I can mix the two shades for my perfect shade year round.
For reference, I’m 54 years old with pretty good skin. I don’t want or like a full coverage foundation as I don’t have a lot I feel I need to conceal. I like my skin to look like skin and feel like skin, but better of course. I despise a full coverage mask look and feel. I lean toward a satin to dewy look, as I find that’s much less aging looking on mature skin. This is not a matte foundation but it’s definitely not a greasy or “wet” looking dewy foundation that slides around all over your face. It doesn’t have any glitter, sparkle, or discernible mica in it. Sounds cliche & overused but it def gives a healthy “Lit from within” glow. It’s just perfect IMO. It stays on all day in the super-humid southern/Georgia summer heat (with a little setting or finishing powder after application). It doesn’t settle into lines. It doesn’t settle into or highlight your pores at all.
I’ve never really gotten into Becca product b/c they seem to gear themselves toward the mega-bright highlighter sect but I’m super glad I picked this up and gave it a try. I’m a usual MUFE Ultra HD foundation devotee but this one I find myself reaching for every day since I bought it. Super surprised and super impressed with this foundation. Can’t beat the steal I got it for at TJMaxx as well.
I would say this is light coverage but can definitely be built up to Medium coverage w/o looking cakey, greasy or mask like. It is VERY complimentary on mature skin as it doesn’t sink into lines or pores. It makes my skin look airbrushed almost. It doesn’t cover sunspots fully but I prefer to spot conceal those strategically so my skin doesn’t look Foundation heavy.

I’m obsessed. Dewy, lightweight but definitely not smudge proof but gosh it makes my skin look good.
Not too keen on the price

This foundation works surprisingly well for my almost 60 year old, relatively good skin. It gives me light coverage and the tiniest bit of luminosity. Four lippies because the dropper is garbage.

I have read so many complaints and negative things about this product and i am so glad I bought this prior to reading those reviews. this is a beautiful foundation. two complaints I read that stuck with me were “this wasn’t long lasting” and “it made my oily skin shiny”. this is not a long lasting foundation, it isn’t marketed that way and that shouldn’t be a complaint. I work in a hot restaurant for 12 hr shifts, this isn’t my work foundation. I have to have a real long wear formula. I wear this all the rest of the time and it holds up and wears well the whole time. it doesnt oxidize or breakdown or wear off. i am pleased by how well it holds up. this is a luminous foundation, the definition speaks for itself. my skin use to be oily and i avoided luminous because I didn’t need any extra shine. now my skin is more normal and i really like the luminous factor to this. it makes my skin look healthier and more youthful. it isn’t Illuminating or super luminous. it’s subtle, natural looking and really just brightens face. this foundation applies well, blends easily and I love how flawless my skin looks when I’m wearing this. i think it’s worth the price. it’s a big bottle and it only takes literally two drops for coverage I need. it’s builds if want a more full coverage but i like the light coverage this gives. it feels good on my skin. yes people complain about the bad packaging. it’s not great but it is what it is and I don’t have an issue with it. shake well, open, push button on top to get product into dropper and then dispense. it’s not any extra time or trouble. it’s definitely not bad enough to effect my feelings on this product. it’s really good and am glad i bought it

I find this similar to Marc Jacobs Shameless Youthful-Look 24H Foundation SPF 25 but more sheer. Very sheer liquidy tint, like a stain or wash of colour. Can be built up to light coverage but doesn’t cover imperfections whatsoever. You will spending alot more time concealing with this one. Elegant finish, feels very light on skin, building more layers doesn’t cake up. Gives skin a soft powder-satin glow (non-oily) that is very pretty and looks very skin-like/believable. Doesn’t transfer onto phones. Doesn’t highlight pores or texture, but doesn’t really blur them either at a close social distance. From far away it has a slight blurring effect, like your skin with a pretty, youthful, healthy, non-oily) soft sheen. Overall, I think its for near perfect skin who want to achieve even more perfect skin.
The shades all seem to have a nice peachy gold undertone which looks very natural on my warm skin. “Fair” was a bit too dark for me so I think the range is lacking at the lighter end.
Its pretty but I will probably won’t repurchase. That fussy dropper dispenser stops me wanting to get it out and use it. I went through a bottle faster than other foundations because its so sheer. Also, while it feels light on my skin, it also feels a bit tight and uncomfortable, as if I was wearing a light layer of hairspray or paint. I’m constantly aware I’m wearing a mask of foundation. For this kind of finish, I prefer Marc Jacobs Shameless.

I think this is a beautiful foundation if you are looking for something that is lightweight and glowy. This is pretty sheer so I only use it by itself on good skin days…..but it’s also nice to mix with matte foundations to give them a more satin finish. It really gives a gorgeous glow to the skin without looking overly shiny. The packaging is beautiful but it took me a minute to realize that the dropper dispenses too much too fast, so tap gently. I like to use my iTCosmetics buffing brush to apply and then finish by tapping over it with a blending sponge.

I sampled this from Sephora as I’m in the market for a new foundation for my mature, slightly dry skin. This was a no-go for me as it is very liquidy and seemed to settle in and emphasize all my pores and lines. It does leave a healthy sheer wash of colour but I can’t get past the texture issue with it. This may work for younger people without texture issues who want a natural, luminous finish.

Now that there’s less humidity in the air, my creme foundations aren’t cutting it. They made my skin look old and dull, so I searched for a lighter formula. When I first put it on, it’s OK, but after it bonds with my skin for a few minutes it looks really good! I bought it in Beige, and I spread one drop over my face (I use my fingers), and it gives me light coverage that makes my skin look healthy and radiant. Then I take another drop and use a beauty blender to apply just to areas that need more coverage, and it blends seamlessly into the rest of my face. I can’t believe it’s the same skin! It definitely looks better to use only a small amount. I only powder my nose — no powder on the rest of my face or it would make it look dry.
There are two cons: 1. No spf (I’m waiting for an order of Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue to see how that compares.)
2. The packaging is as bad as everyone says. The bottle looks nice, and I’m used to my skin care being in dropper bottles, but this particular type of dropper bottle is a fail. If I get tired of it, I will probably pour it into another container.
But still, I love how this looks — I highly recommend it for dry skin. I’ve used it both with and without the Backlighting Primer, and it looks good either way, but I usually use the primer.
Note: I tested this side by side with Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue in Suede. They look pretty similar, but Complexion Rescue has spf and no silicones. I think they’re both good options for people who want a lighter foundation.

Bought this recently and was so disappointed! I love glory and dewy skin but this looked awful on my pores and after a few hours became very oxidized. I would not buy it again. I tend to mix a little of it into my Mac studio fix just to get some use from the product. This seems to work ok.

Shocked by these reviews. This foundation is literally one of the best beauty buys I have ever made..You must shake the bottle really well before using, and you really need to apply with a brush, with downward strokes and some stippling in areas where you need more coverage, it says on the bottle to use a brush to apply, a beauty blender is not the best tool for this product, and I love my beauty blender, but put it away for this one lol.. I have only had this for about a week, but I have used it every single day since I got it, and will be buying a backup this week… I’m 47, combo skin, no acne or acne scars, and thankfully no crazy wrinkles yet. This foundation has surpassed my expectations, and even blown my beloved MAC Water Weight foundation out of the water. It has a tad bit more coverage than the MAC, but not by much, it’s also more glowy than Water Weight. If you prefer the full coverage, super matte look, you won’t like this. But if you prefer beautiful, glowing, luminous skin, that isn’t greasy at all, but a healthy sheen, you will love this! I’m NW25, and actually was matched to the shade “Light”, and it’s a perfect match. I used MAC’s mineral charged moisturizer, a spray of MAC Fix+, then applied this with a dense, slanted, flat top brush, or the IT Cosmetics OMG foundation brush, then setting powder, and it lasted great, even in California heat.. If you like a luminous/ healthy look, you will love this foundation.
