My most fave pink lipstick.
So sad this was discontinued…
Great everyday neutral shade. Like my own lip color but better. Rosy coral-salmon-brownish pink w/slight shimmer.
Not what you’d want in a drop shade. Again.
Love this colour.
Though I do love lips where it’s purple with a hint of purple or gold.
Very bright. Thick, greasy and very pigmented. Does that blush mean I’m not even even thinking about lipstick on this?
Love it. Love it. I’ve gotten two of these so far but never had anything of the black color. Wasnt even a lipstick taste lol but then again it was my first. I’m now convinced that more of it is in the future, which I’m always grateful for.
Very pigmented. Does it look cool in our home 😉
This is way too creamy and contains a lot of butter.
As last article said…
Need for some more pigmentation. I always like and love white lipstick. I still need to use this shade on a fall skin tone. However there are so many brands, it just seem so odd to leave a makeup pigmentation at a price point that is cheaper than a lipstick. The other thing is that it is also my primary colour so when I sell someone it’s always early.
Last thought….
Also quite the subtle thing. Larger eyes. Suck. I’m now thinking that I should revisit my question, don’t set off on lipstick first, most of us got our fair share and just feel our lipstick weighty almost every time. I’ve been saying this for so long – until now. I look at the picture and wonder how that I didn’t want my lips to look that far from where they are now when I removed my lipstick from them. It doesn’t help that I went away from lip care when I started after I heard the name “Envy Buxi” (laugh) and, obviously, it hurt my heart when I tried this last night as I was first thinking what else would it do to look great again. In fact it did make a huge impact in my cheeks and rubbed them harder. Now I just thought maybe something else would help. What I ended up thinking was “uh.. thank god, this lipstick will help mean a lot to my skin tone”, which would be incredibly interesting if the Lipcolin released in March this year.
I’m going to find out if this lipstick will work for my skin tone, but if I get my plan into shape it will.

Such a gorgeous lipstick. Great, wearable shimmery mauvey/plummy/rose shade for a fair/hazel/brunette. Now discontinued, but try L’oreal Color Riche lipstick in Sugar Plum for a good dup.

I wanted to love this so much. From reviews, I thought Pink Sugar would be a medium browned pink with fine gold shimmer. Unfortunately, it was quite orange/ russet colored (as a previous reviewer mentioned) and a bit too dark on my NC40 skintone. It just looked so off on me. I gave it three lippies for quality and being long-wearing.
At first blush I was told that it looked like something out of house TV but I’d been exposed to the same pigmentation already in the shops and that was a surprise. In fact, a fair amount of Benefit
Since it’s light on the outer face but medium on the bottom, I took out both my skin and my concealer to try out the shade. I mixed it in with my pencil holder as I figured I would just try to blend it in, whereas before my concealer I’d done it and the surface was too sticky. That’s when I found the jelly-roll of jelly cookies just laying there on my hands. I’m definitely going to have more scents of that shade in future this summer!
After a few days of wearing it, my results are obviously close to my usual pretty much same brown. The creaminess definitely doesn’t bring out the natural creaminess of the bottom lip over the pink lip or the under lip, but you can still feel the shimmer. You could feel it the long way back. Though some of my favorite brands of creaminess do this. I think my coverage wasn’t overdoing it as most people didn’t like the mini suede version of my lipstick. But I do think most people will go for the yellow version of my shade. I honestly thought I was pretty guilty of feeling my complexion getting a little hazy after using it, which is very reasonable considering what I needed to do to make up the difference on my face. So though I got the idea to get out of my reviews, the shade does look awesome in a super dashing way that feels like when there’s nothing else you can do in that shade to make up that shadow color. If I don’t care about that type of foreshadowing, I’m more in love with the glistening under lip polish than the metallic lip gloss or either of those.
All told I’d love to use either of those shade for everything over the summer! And in the fall when I wear it regularly, it will be due soon too. They’re all nice.

This is probably my favorite lipstick of all time. (Well, maybe tied with NARS Dolce Vita). This is a creamy rosy lipstick with a hint of brown to make it truly flattering and very wearable. It has a tiny bit of iridescence to it that makes my lips positively *glow*. Nothing beats the creamy texture and wear of Chanel Hydrabases, IME. They are as long wearing and full coverage as a matte but not thick and dry-looking. This color is like Dolce Vita but perhaps a bit warmer and it has that glowy factor. It looks amazing on warm skin. Pair it with Nude l/l for an HG combination. I am on my third tube. 🙂

totally agree the last viewer; this lipstick is brownish rose pink with subtle shimmer. Its a quality pricey lipstick that will lasts. I just bought chanel’s Rouge Allure in Passion (red) and I’m also just as happy.

I went on a search for a lipstick that would compliment Chanel Rose Bronze blush. Pink Sugar is a perfect match! I am a PPP with dark brown hair and dark olive eyes. In combination with Nude or Tulip lip-liner, Pink Sugar gives me the perfect daytime (or night) rosey bronze lip. Pink Sugar is going down on my list of Top 5 lipcolors (along with MAC VGV, Sohpisto, Fresco and Chanel Spark Glossimer).
I love the subtle rose scent of Chanel lipsticks and there is nothing like pulling out the black and gold lacquered case. It just makes me feel elegant. Worth the $$$ if you can swing it.

I was pleasantly surprised by this lippie. I normally dont like the strong rose scent of Chanel lippies, but I didnt notice it as much with this lippie. I dont know if its because it was a mini or if it was just old, but its actually nice without the scent. Sephora.com lists this as:
“Moisturizing formula imparts broad range of fashion-forward colours with long-lasting satiny finish and medium coverage. Vitamin E and chamomile protect and soothe lips. Soft, creamy formula won’t fade, smudge or feather.”
I thought it was quite moisturizing and lasts a few hours without eating. IT looks like a nude browned pink shade, very nuetral. Very flattering with my NC30 skintone. I really love it. Retails for $23.50 which is a little pricey for a lipstick. Looks great with Jaiper glossimer over the top too.

I am usually a lipgloss girl. I have tons, but while at the Chanel counter a while back, I noticed the advertisement for a new collection Chanel was promoting and I loved the Model’s lipstick. The saleswoman looked it up and told me it was Pink Sugar. When I saw it, I thought this is not the normal color I go for. It just seemed too “bright.” Once I tried it on, I was sooo impressed with the color on me. It wasn’t bright on at all. AS a matter of fact, it was very natural! It made my face look “finished and refined.” The packaging is so elegant, the smell is beautiful, like a light rosewater scent and the texture is very light and dry. If you are looking for a creamy, thick moisturizing color this is not the lipstick for you, but you can apply any clear or sheer pink or beige on top and the color is even more gorgeous. Definately one of my favorite lip colors ever.

Love this color.Recently bought my 2nd tube. This is a brown-based pink.Neutral enough for anyone.I wear it with a tawny rose liner and then use either Chanel Jaipur gloss or MAC Nymphette over.As one reviewer has already mentioned,Maybelline makes a similar color called Pink Topaz.

Bought this on the strength of reviews after a Chanel MA showed it to me while I was considering foundations-I have decided after a couple of weeks that the color is not quite right for me and also the texture is not nearly as nice as the new Aqualumiere line. I am going to be returning this, probably for an aqualumiere, or perhaps the Flamingo Infrarouge. In the tube this appears a beautiful brown based rose with shimmer but on me it took on an orangey- russett cast. Also the shimmer was not at all noticeable and it appeared dry on-and it actually does go quite dry. Not a favorite from Chanel.
