This is a really good versatile lipgloss which looks great worn over lipsticks or on it’s own. I especially love wearing it over Bobbi’s sheer lipstick in Ballet Pink. Bobbi’s glosses are my favourite formula.

This is a recent discovery for me. I happened upon it one day in Sephora and thought, “Sure, why not?” Since purchasing it over 5 months ago, it has remained in my makeup bag, except when I take it out and apply it daily, that is. It’s a beautiful, subtle gloss that doesn’t add color as much as it does shine and, more importantly, dimension. Texturewise, it’s one of those rare glosses that strikes the perfect balance between thick & glossy with considerable staying power, yet does not feel or leave that unappealing ‘product line’ on the inner lip as some glosses do. {Ew – I DESPISE when glosses do that.} As for the price, it’s on par with most higher-end products: not inexpensive, but not so high as to make you say, “THAT much for a lip gloss?!” On a final note, it’s incredibly versatile. I”ve worn Pink Sugar on its own, as well as under and over pink, mauve, beige and nude lipsticks.

Bobbi Brown Shimmer Lip Gloss in Pink Sugar (0.14 oz and $22 usd). This is a light pale pink gloss contains micro silver shimmers. Pink Sugar has a thick consistency and is sticky on a lip. It reminded me of Mac lip glass. It comes in a cute small thin tube which can be great for traveling or putting in a pocket. Also, the package contains a bristle brush which at time can be difficult to apply because you would have to go over a lip quite a few times to get the right amount of product. The product size is smaller than the standard size which is 0.20 oz such as in Nars, Revlon, Chanel, Lancome, etc. So, you get a little product for $22 usd. In addition, Pink Sugar contains a vanilla scent which is subtle and would disappears within 10 minutes. Overall, Pink Sugar is great if you want a pale pink gloss that has micro shimmers and do not mind the stickiness and the small amount of product.

Few years ago, I was going for a wedding so I got a little makeover from Bobbi Brown. I bought the Pink Sugar lip gloss that they applied to my lips that day because I thought it looked gorgeous!! But, after a few applications, the brush started to shed and I could find hairs on my lips. The color was still glossy but they should make a better brush for that awful price. Still, I would buy this again, but for maybe a lower price.

It’s so pretty!! It’s light, pink and shimmers! Since I bought it two weeks ago, I’ve been wearing it non stop. It holds well too. Perfect for spring. I agree with the rest, the brush isn’t top quality, but it doesn’t bother me either.

Pink Sugar is a dream for me, since I’m all over pales/nudes/baby pinks. I’m not fond of the brush applicator since the bristles tend to get a little screwy on this after a few uses, but I absolutely love the formula and how long these wear, and this color is gorgeous! It’s a light baby pink that just pairs SO well with a smokey charcoal eye, and wears for HOURS. The shimmer is gorgeous, and the scent it amazing on these glosses! Overall, huge raves!

I was not a fan of this lipgloss. First off, I don’t like how sticky and tacky it is on my lips, it has a little too much shimmer for my taste, and I know this is the #1 complaint about all BB glosses .. the brush spreads and makes it very hard to use. I do wish they would use doe-foot applicators. The color of this made my lips a little too rosy and washed me out because of the frost. Will not repurchase.

I got this in a swap recently. While I like it just fine, I would not repurchase. Here’s the rundown:
Things I like about this product: (1) it’s a nice neutral color; (2) my lips look shimmery, not glassy; (3) it can be easily layered over colors to produce a variety of looks; (4) it’s not too thick.
Things I really do not like about this product: (1) the applicator sucks–I’ve taken to applying it to my finger and then using my finger to spread it on my lips; (2) the shimmer can come off like glitter if you use a different color base that has any shimmer in it; and (3) while it’s not too thick, it’s a little too thin and tends to run beyond my lipline if I overapply.
All in all, it’s a nice neutral lipgloss that works great for daytime, but it’s a little too temperamental. Something this expensive (and from such a well-respected cosmetics line) should be better designed.

I am addicted to lipgloss/lipstick. So, I’ve tried them all from very expensive department store brands to drugstore stuff and this is one of the best ever. The color is lovely. It is a soft pink with a nice shine (but not glass-like). Most importantly though is the staying factor. I’ve never had a gloss that lasts as long. It stays on for hours, if you aren’t using your lips for more than talking. One drawback is the brush to apply it. The bristles are going in all different directions. A sponge-type applicator would work better. I will repurchase.

I swear by this lipgloss! I wear it on top of Pale Pink lipstick and it makes my lips a beautiful pink shade – perfect for during the day. At night i wear this gloss with Pink lipstick which is a bit of a loud pink, but hot 😉
