I have this product in the “clear shade, and I’m pleased with it overall.
I was looking for a clear gloss with silver shimmer, and this gloss fits that description. It’s pretty much a standard clear gloss that’s literally packed with very tiny clear/iridescent glitter. If I had to name it, I’d call it “Moonlight.” I think it could work for either day or evening.
It doesn’t really impart any color on its own, but lends an ethereal shimmer to any lipcolor it’s applied atop.
The gloss is slightly thick, nicely emollient, but is minimally sticky. I detect no grittiness, even when I rub my lips together. It does have a slightly cloying “makeup-y” scent/taste to it, but that fades a bit as it’s worn.
Speaking of wear, the gloss wears respectably, though it won’t survive much eating or drinking.
Packaging is adequate, consisting of a clear plastic tube, and a cap with a sturdy doe-foot applicator.
This is a very nice gloss, for less than $10.00 USD, from a cruelty-free company.
I hope NYX keeps this one around for a long time.

I have several different shades of the NYX Lip Lingerie Liquid Lipsticks but when NYX Cosmetics came out with new Shimmer and Glitter versions I decided I would compare these to my original matte and gloss finishes.
I have the color Maison which is a beautiful tan/nude shade. The matte version of these lasts the longest for wear time, with shimmer coming in second, gloss in third, and glitter in fourth. My favorite finish of all of these ended up being the shimmer version which has a nice finish. On days when my lips are feeling a little dry I will wear the gloss color since this gives my lips a little bit of hydration. The glitter version is an overall pass for me but was nice to have for this comparison. I must say wearing a lippie that has a vanilla scent to it is a nice change from some of the floral and fruity scent lipsticks I’ve been trying lately!
