This is an excellent scent from Estee Lauder. It has a warm woody/honey tone to it. It is a warm and spicy skin scent. Very elegant and sexy. Usually with Estee Lauder perfumes, they are overtly floral (like Beautiful or Pleasures). This is very underrated, and I hope they continue to make it for a long time. It feels cozy like a warm sweater.
The scent features lily notes, magnolia and jasmine petals in the top. The heart brings aromas of molten wood and amber, while the base introduces sandalwood, black pepper, juicy mandarin pulp and honey.

My current favourite – warm, glamorous, musky, romantic, vanilla/woodlike. I adore the femininity and richness of this scent, I think it’s glamorous, womanly and seductive. I like it for cooler months and evenings. In summer I love Bronze Goddess from Estee Lauder. My mum’s favourite is Pleasures.That brand really does a good job with fragrances.

I have a collection of probably over 50 bottles of perfume, but by far this is my very, very favourite. There is just something about this scent. Whenever I wear it, everyone who comes near me comments on how amazing it smells. I know that perfume can smell different on different people, but on me, this scent is heavenly. It is musky and woodsy, so sensual. LOVE IT.

IMHO the best scent from EL is Bronze Goddess (which s–t ton of people don’t even know of it, it’s shrouded in the shadows of obscurity kinda compared to Beautiful, Youth Dew, Modern Muse & Sensuous are more what come to mind when I think EL frags. This is such a gorgeous unique scent. I can’t describe it to do it justice. But it is classy, it lasts a long time ESP on clothes. Do I detect a bit of Amber/vanilla/musk on the dry down? It’s is so much $$& so if I buy this again it will be be in order to get my mega PWP that EL does around Xmas. I have a roller ball currently which seems to have lasted forever when j put it on it stays close to you, to really get a whiff. I prefer a scent that proceeds me & lingers after I leave. And I like scents that bring the boys to the yard for my milkshake haha

I just treated myself to a bottle of this for my birthday recently, after testing it and wanting it for quite a while. Too pricey at the department store, so I searched online. Best deal was at overstock.com.. This is Eau de Parfum and 1 or 2 sprays really lasts.. I can smell it on my clothes for a day or 2 after spraying it.. Does anyone remember Flex Shampoo and Conditioner? I used to use this in the 1970’s. I would say my first impression of this fragrance is that it reminds me a bit of the conditioner, but better… Sweet, somewhat spicy and woody.. I really like it. I wouldn’t classify this as a floriental or an oriental by any means (I would say that about Opium, or something of the like) I guess it would be more of the “woody” class.. I would say it is more of a fall/winter scent, but I will probably use this year round, both day/night and office wear, just don’t overspray as it’s potent.
This has a nice sillage and lasts very well.. I have sprayed on my skin and clothes and both ways hold well. On overstock.com, I got a 1.7 oz. spray bottle of eau de parfum, plus $2.95 shipping, for about 40-43 dollars.. That’s about 20 or so dollars below retail.. SCORE!
I highly recommend trying this fragrance.

I kept trying this in the store and realized it seemed a little different each time I used it. I finally purchased it and found if I apply right after a shower while my skin is still damp it lightens the fragrance and I love it…
It is long lasting but not too heavy….I think it has a sweet vanilla smell and one light spray last all day. I think this was a good chose for me…

I first smelled this years ago and fell in love with its woodsy warm scent and have loved it since. The top notes are jasmine, magnolia, and lily which are noticeable, but the jasmine are most noticeable to me. The middle notes are amber, wood, and ylang-ylang. The amber and wood are very distinct to me with a touch ylang-ylang. The base notes sandalwood, mandarin orange, pepper, and white honey which come out on me.
I find this a comforting and very warm. It has longevity and sillage is moderate. It will leave a small trail.

Absolutely adore this fragrance. Love the fresh, powder, warmth & comfort of this. Will purchase this repeatedly. This could be a year round scent. Day or night. Any occasion.

I tested this (also) today at the store. Personally, I think this is a lot like Modern Muse but with more vanilla and sweetness (honey?) in it. Having said that, I love vanilla and this didn’t have enough of it. Not a bad scent whatsoever. It just didn’t “do it” for me.

I love the smell of this fragrance for I love spicy scents but it doesn’t last long. After about four hours it’s completely gone which is very disappointing for Estee Lauder. I hope to find something similar to this that has more longevity. Will not repurchase.
