Notes from Fragrantica:
Top notes are calabrian bergamot, orange blossom and black pepper; middle notes are iris, lavender and may rose; base notes are guaiac wood, patchouli and white musk.
Like many others, I also get the carroty-earthy vibe from this one. The combination of almost edible iris and the patchouli/black pepper/guaiac wood I think is what’s doing it. This is definitely unisex and can be worn in all seasons, but it’s a lot earthier than you would expect. If you’re looking for a lipstick iris, this is NOT your gal.
I quite enjoy it.

Basically, this smells like ballet shoes to me. The first whiff did not open well at all..in fact if I had tried it on in store I would have scrubbed it off immediately. But as it mingled with my skin it did settle nicely. I find it to be long lasting and actually do get more of that powdery note at the base. This one seems to cling very close to the skin. All through its evolution I couldn’t help but think how it smells like ballet shoes….not pointe because I’ve never smelled those. I mean little girl’s ballet shoes. It is quite an odd fragrance to have and wear. I do like it because of how different it is, but my favorites are still Pomelo Paradis, Clementine California, and Sud Magnolia.

Another one from the Wardrobe travel size set. I don’t even know what to say about this one. It’s not offensive, but is really quite peculiar, on me anyway. This is not a powdery iris at all, more a floral one with an undercurrent of green vegetal. It has excellent longevity, which is great if you love it. Myself, I’m not sure how I feel about it. I did try washing it off, and let me tell you, this sucker clung fiercely. I read some reviews that said iris can smell like carrots…and I think that may well be how I feel about it. Carroty floral. Very odd.
