Good for those who want to try a zinc oxide tinted sunscreen but best suited perhaps for oilier lighter complexions than my combo N.C. 30-35 skin. Not moisturizing enough to use alone in colder weather. Am undecided re whether to repurchase for in summer months, but I may look for another zinc oxide option.
Thick texture (probably due to zinc oxide) that needs to be blended carefully on skin so only a small amount needed for cosmetic reasons (but antithetical to the sunscreen application recommendations). Since liberal application is recommended I would have also preferred paying more for a larger, lighter shatterproof container). This comes in a heavy glass jar that I associate with upscale lip balm. I used my own spatula to dig product out. Found fingers rather than foundation brush better for smoothing out, which is contrary to my experience or preference with foundations that use titanium dioxide or thinner or lighter BB creams or lotions with sunscreen. After blending, this had only sheer to moderate coverage (as advertised which was fine) but was matte rather than the advertised dewy. Light scent is not unpleasant; does not irritate my skin; and, it dissipates quickly (a plus). Product did seem to stay on all day without transfer and removed easily with micellar water. In the jar, product had moved and settled oddly during transport and looked about 1/4 to 1/3 empty from the bottom up which has not happened with other foundations, but customer service confirmed it was new and freshly packaged and this happens in colder weather. May keep this for summer weather when my skin becomes oilier, but find other options with sunscreen easier and more elegant to use though not with zinc oxide. The zinc oxide does leave a slight white cast so, though the medium seemed the best match, if I repurchase, I may try the darker tan shade.
