I was very excited to try out the new PETER THOMAS ROTH Skin to Die For™ Mineral-Matte CC Cream SPF 30 once it came out. I really like the Peter Thomas Roth Skin to Die For Primer and the Peter Thomas Roth Max Mineral Naked Sunscreen so I thought I would probably like the CC cream. I do like the Skin to Die For CC cream, but, with the right primer underneath. This isn’t really a true matte finish- I would call it more of a radiant finish more than a matte finish, although this can depend on what product is immediately underneath it. I tried using this on top of various sunscreens and this did not like being applied over sunscreen and did not provide good coverage. Ultimately I found that this works best over a mattifying primer, and the PTR Skin to Die For Primer as well. A few more things to like about this CC cream is that it is fragrance free, contains some good antioxidants, provides SPF 30 protection, and provides medium coverage.
