Coverage is sheer/light in that it evens out the redness in my skin but doesn’t cover dark spots or acne (there’s a “cover” version of the Ampoule Intense Cushion, and my review applies to the normal one).
The product is moisturizing enough to prevent my dry cheeks from flaking, which happens when I wear liquid makeup (even over moisturizer). The finish is glowing rather than matte, which works well for me during every season other than the summer, which my skin is more normal/combination than dry.

Powders are too drying for me and I don’t like the way they look. The Innisfree cushion is the best thing for my dry skin. I use #23 and it offers a sheer coverage. It is dewy, natural and feels very light on the skin. I’m on my second cushion and will repurchase when I run out.

I love this cushion! The shade#13 truly matches my skin tone. It makes me look naturally glowing and dewy. I got compliment from my mother since the first day I’ve started wearing it.
I have all 3 ranges of Innisfree cushion which #13 is the only shade I can use. Though I am a medium-light asian skin tone around nc20, but I find #21 is always a bit too dark/yellowish.
However, Innisfree has the lightest shade among many other cushions I have tried. With other brands, they’re darker or too pinkish. Some brand made me look grey and cakey. The ampoule intense leaves moist on the surface but it doesn’t absorb into skin. So on the dry flaky area, it will just sit there. It also takes a while to set on skin beautifully which depends on the amount you tap it on.
During the day, I use a clean back of my hand instead of facial blotter on shining area. I only touch up when necessary ’cause I like the feeling ‘no makeup makeup’ it gives. 🙂

This is an interesting product. My first cushion compact, so I can’t compare to other. Coverage is sheer to medium, buildable I would say but still looks super natural, it makes skin look glowy and evened out. Glowy and maybe a tad oily on my forehead. I quite enjoy the buffing sponge you get with it, it’s a bit squeaky. The cushion that holds the foundation doesn’t seem to be holding a lot, so I don’t think this would last very long. I’m not sure if this gives me spot, my skin is in a good place right now so I don’t want to jinx it and put it to the test. It’s interesting for sure, but I don’t think I’ll be repurchasing this one.
